Received an email from the principal reminding me that I need to submit a workplan for the Staff Welfare committee..
Didn't think much about it 'coz oh well, I didn't know we gotta submit it after our meeting and it was my first year heading..
Until last year's head told me "Erh, how come you gotta do ah?Last year I no need leh.."

yah i agree.. if he doesn't think you can do the job, he wouldn't have given it to you! I say he's trying to groom you or something, that's why he wants you to do everything perfectly! :)
