Oooh, interesting! I love the way you've suggested the shine of metal...

Did it boil over? The dark cloud suggests a recipe that could go awry if not watched carefully.

If the yardwork doesn't kill me, I shall continue Naarting. :^) entropy_house August 18 2016, 01:59:01 UTC
The *second* compost heap is now nearly as tall as I am. So tired it took several tries before my fingers remembered how to doodle. ;^)

And these are adorable - is the last one a llama, or is that just my llama love talking? :)

I thought I might get more done, but at least one side of the border got coloured in.

I love the way the shone on the grey makes it all the more metallic, as old weaponry would be :)

That was a bit of serendipity that I'll try to use on the other parts, if it can fit. I have two types of silver writing implements. One's a ballpoint pen that if one angles the paper just right in the light glints a bit silvery. The other is one of those calligraphy-tipped markers. Its ink is a much brighter silver, but the tip is too big to do something small with and it's old and starting to blot unpredictably. So I just dabbed a bit on the larger sections of the staves. When I looked at the scanning result, I was pleased that that the marker ink had worked as highlights!

Could make a lovely actual window, though I suppose the grey tones would be difficult. Love the wavy with the straight lines.

Maybe the "grey" could be different levels of opaque, untinted, glass?

Yes, that would work. That would produce different shades as well I think.
