I decided to icon a picture or two of one of my original fannish heroines, Blakes 7's Jenna... but instead kept going with the other female crew members. Here they are, all four women who were at some time part of Blakes 7, Jenna, Cally, Dayna and Soolin...

Excellent choice of subject matter! I really like the Dayna one - the polished wall and her shiny outfit, and the framing.

Dayna is by no mans a favorite character, but I do like how she comes oyt in icons... she is very beautiful.

Interesting! Would make good first page on a fantasy novel if added towns anddescriptions and whatnot.

I'd like to add towns and things - maybe I'll return to it later!

Beautifully coloured birb and what a face she has.

Oh my - this is brilliant! ( of course I didn´t know what "birb" was, so a new word for me, than you too).

More of a meme, than a word. Maybe I should apologize for teaching it and putting it forward xD

Trying to save my recipe book design, I attempted some more food related designs. This time, peas and squash. Pea flowers are popular in Art Nouveau but the pods less so. There's a Dutch house somewhere with a lovely pod design but the website that it's on crashed so eeeh.

I'll probably go with the squash if I go with anything.

Great details but I can imagine how labourious it is.Still, your choice is the best for Art Nouveau. I am really excited because I would like to try this myself IF I was able to.:-)

It takes FOREVER. I tried to do some more today but just didn't have the patience lol. Try it! If you want I can leave a comment or do some example pictures to show how you go from plant to design?
