We have winds gusts right now of 43 knots! For those not in the know, a nautical mile is 6076 feet while a statute mile is 5280 feet, and knots are nautical miles per hour, so 43 knots is roughly 50 miles per hour. Holy smokes

OH MY GOSH - Faygo and ring balogna? I'm drinking Shasta right now because the Admiral station didn't have Faygo and I'd be eating ring balogna if I had had the presence of mind to get some at the store yesterday! If only we could get these things at Dennys! At least, I'm assuming we're meeting at Dennys... Table 303 right?

For reasons beyond my comprehension, ring bologna doesn't exist in Arizona. I'm not near as big a fan of it as Jen is, but I enjoy a piece every now and then.

Of course we're meeting at Denny's. Did we ever decide on a time, though? I can't remember.

Well, seems like I will have to "care-package" you some when you get back there for a while... will the USPS ship that stuff? I remember that they always ask you if it's perishable. Hmm...

We never did decide on a time, but I plan on being in town the night of the 14th, so any time on the 15th is good for me... Just let me know when you feel it's going to be appropriate for you to leave the fam.

I'm not sure if they'll ship it. My in-laws have mailed us hickory stick before, but that doesn't have to be refrigerated prior to opening it (hickory stick doesn't exist out here, either. I can't for the life of me figure out why they ever made this place a state).

Let's pick a time so I can write it in my little appointment book. Hmm... how about noon? I was going to say a little later than that, but I know I won't be able to think about anything else that day, so we might as well go earlier. Will noon work for you?
