I got to go drum at a senior residence for poor and disabled adults on Friday! What a blast! Just to be in the company of so much collective life experience is powerful, but to then make music with them - WOW! It seemed to awaken neurons that haven't fired in a long time, and the longer we played with them, the more they opened up and started

The stories that these people could tell would entertain our children at Yale for the next 9 months or longer. All of these stories will be lost no one to hear them, no one to write them down and no one cares. These lovely people love to talk, share and are talented but only a few get to see them and listen to them. Thank you for being a caring lady!
