I've got a low-carb cajun sausage pasta keeping warm on the stove, Top Chef on and a Absolut Apeach and diet tonic to sip on & relaxing from a long day at work. Time to maek posts!
Here's some stuff I've had my eye on for a while, cool, fun, whatever.
I decided I want to do a DIY project for the apartment. I saw this article about cheats for clutter and it got me thinking about "a place for everything and everything in it's place". We've always been kinda messy people but I think the key is just having more "places" to put crap. So in that spirit we've picked up some decorative trays and bowls but I'm gonna go one further and pretty-up a serving tray - inspired by this post in design-sponge. I've already bought the tray, the grout and the tiles... can't wait till it all gets here and I can do a little art project! I figure, start small, and soon I'll be faux-ing wall treatments :P
Also very sad news that Domino Magazine is soon to be no more :( Hpefully it will live on online! I'd been a subscriber for a few years now... it seems to kinda fit the more modern not-martha set, yuppy, city dweller or suburbanite. It's really a shame when magazines go out of business that cater to the NOT rediculously rich (aka realistic) set. Hopefully Lucky Magazine won't be next, I'll have to cry.
I just bought this tart warmer and some tarts to go with it. I love candles so interested in trying a new (hopefully cost effective) thing in the same vein.
The new Chanel noirs collection is awesome, almost as good as the Russie collection - I have the gold & black nail varnish and I love it. It took some getting used to having polished nails but I think I'm a convert!
this guy can really dance, and Planet Unicorn has the best theme song ever.
Ok enough for now, time to stalk Shaq on Twitter!
