callykarishokka. :DDDDD
And at a whim, I wrote OTP puggleformer fic. *lol*:p
Vortex Puggle and Blast Off Puggle, fluff, not beta read, origin story. *g*
---
Vortex Puggle woke up after the last seam was sewn.
He saw his maker leave the table, and he rolled to his side a little. He was an artificial Puff Puggle - a Puggleformer, he knew that.
His rotor twitched when he became aware of them as he rolled a little further and a tip touched the table. Straightening himself again, Vortex Puggle wanted to explore. He’d be put down on a table full of fabric and other things, looking around curiously.
Vortex Puggle's visor brightened at all the shiny stuff. He didn’t trust his rotors to fly just yet, and so he hopped towards a stash of shimmering red fabric.
Hey, that looked like the stuff his visor was made of. He could hide in there and surprise his maker once she came back.
But Vortex Puggle never had a chance to surprise her. When she was back, she was quick, lifted him, leaving him no chance to struggle, and put him in an egg.
Vortex Puggle winced, he wanted to scream that he just woke up and wanted to see ALL the things, but there was no chance of protest. The egg was closed.
Vortex Puggle was in the dark for a long time. He felt the egg being moved around, and eventually it was put into something else. Vortex Puggle knew, because the last light that came through the seam where the two egg halves met vanished.
A few hours passed in the utter darkness, then he heard a sound. A grumbling, and something outside of the egg moved.
Vortex Puggle began shifting, and nudging the egg, but it didn’t open. It was still better than before, because now he knew there was someone with him, another puggle. Wherever they were brought, Vortex Puggle looked forward to getting to know the other.
---
He had to wait almost three weeks in which they heard a lot of humans talking. In which their bag was pushed around, put on something, put under something, and all the time, the other puggle grumbled his complaining sounds.
Vortex Puggle thought it was funny.
And then, after so long, the bag was opened. Someone squealed, but it didn’t sound like a puggle squeal, more a like a human.
Light came through the seam again shortly before Vortex Puggle was finally free. He hopped out of the egg, stretching his rotors, and glancing around. This time, he wasn’t on a table, but on a sofa. It was blue, and there were plants on the window next to it, huge ones - for him anyway. On the sofa was another puggle, purple and brown, and pretty much flat.
Vortex Puggle giggled. He hopped into the air, and started his rotors. Spinning a few times around himself, he could stabilise after a moment, and flew in a quite uneven path to the other. He nudged the stranger, who edged away.
Mumbling was exchanged, like talking without words, and Vortex Puggle was happy.
So, the other was Blast Off, interesting. He was a Puggleformer, too, with two wing bits on his side. Unlike Vortex Puggle's rotors, though, they were too small to be of any use.
Vortex Puggle snickered.
Then snickered some more as he watched the other hop and roll around until he was all puffed up and round again.
Blast Off Puggle seemed exhausted, but Vortex Puggle didn’t care. Being the social puggle that he was, he recklessly landed on top of the other.
And, while eventually free and able to move, the noise was still the same like in the last three weeks when Blast Off Puggle uttered a complaining mutter.
This was going to be fun.
