Ah, yes, a fellow Metro Detroiter~ I haven't heard much about Merlin fandom people in the area, but I once read a Merlin fanfic that used Angell Hall at UofM as a backdrop reference for the story, lol. I was pretty amused.
I went to Youmacon once as an attendee when it was still held in Troy. I had to stop myself from spending too much on art and commissions in the artist alley!
