"Feminist Porn.. Gee, it looks exactly like all the other porn in the world. People I've never heard of and don't care about, fucking on camera for money."

I found this on my journey for other anti-pornography, pro-lifers. This is one girls story, I can't really relate but in some ways I know how she feels. The cut tag quote was used specifically ( Read more... )

part of the reason people are so intrigued by it at a young age is the fact that they are not tought the correct way to deal with the sexual tension they feel, so when they see pornography, its sinful, its everything, nothing is hidden, its only objects.
you have to investigate, you have to look, because its there, I think everyone should know about it, it shouldnt be hidden from thier eyes, or it will only cause them to find it out of curiousity and accept it.
they have to know about it. they have to know who the shallow people are that accept and create it, they have to know the effects of it, and then, after knowing the negatives, and the moral lows of it, and the lack of emotion of the sex, and pure primal sex urge, if they see this, im almost positive they wont be downloading porn.

People should have realistic sex education, not availability to free porn to explain their curiosities.

I could go on and on with this depate, but I know I will not win.

You view pornography so this conversation is pointless.

its unrealistic though to stop it completly, people will never stop, what I ment is that they should know it exists, in addition to realistic sexual education.
....
well I havn't watched porn in a week, like I said, when I see it now, I see it as objectification of women, and I looked and what your saying is true, I just couldnt see it before, every picture and video is just another vunerable girl being taken advantage of, or there is no bond between them, its just about the sex. I honestly got a stomach ache looking at it, thinking about the minds of the girls that would do such a thing to themselves.
and yes im being totaly truthful about that

Brad said the same thing, how is it I changed the views you two were so stuck on?

It's not easy to believe, and in fact... I wont.

I agree with your reasons for disliking porn and I would definatly say that I feel the same way...also there is something just incredibly sick and desturbing about watching other people destroy their souls like that and give themselves to people they don't care about..sex is a very personal thing, and when it's publicised like that it makes me really weird and uncomfortable because its just trash and fucked up messages we're sending to the youth of the world. *sigh* and even to everyone else as welln

I'm going to have to take the side of the ladies on this one. especially the comment about how detrimental it is to see people destroying their souls for money. Sex is a sacred institution, and to see it defiled just breaks me. I don't think that you have to be married or even in love to have it, but I do feel that there must be the bond, the unspoken, but always heard and obeyed, bond between two people, and pornography is a giant slap in the face to all that have felt that bond. It is, to me at least, comparable to a church(or any other institution one holds in the highest regard) renting out it's basement to hold a fight to the death. and besides, when you find the person that you feel such a bond with, pornography does nothing for you anyways. I'm just kind of ranting now, but I'm sick of being cheapened as a social whole by the many who are so busy watching what other people tell them is beautiful that they pass up what truly IS beautiful, if only to them, in their real lives.

love,
the pete
