New Year's meme 2022
It's time for the annual New Year's meme, but I missed last year's meme so I will try my best to remember 2022 before I do the one for this year. :) I'll be back with the 2023 meme next year! Hopefully I won't wait until the last day of the year. ;)
1. What did you do in 2022 that you'd never done before?
- Tried a "matkasse" (meal kit delivery service) from Årstiderna.
- Saw Jakob Hellman live.
- Went to Uddevalla.
- Sewed a Halloween costume for Vega (Sommarskuggan).
- Went out of town for two days while Danne's mother was babysitting Vega.
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I hoped I would spend more time on self-care routines like sleeping and getting massages and of course working out to get rid of my back pain. My sleep was better, I think, but I didn't work out and overall my health has been set aside.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My friend Maria gave birth to a little boy, Arvid! <3
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Turbo died suddenly on July 20. :'( He was his usual self the evening before and when I woke up the next morning he was dead. I miss him a lot.
5. What countries did you visit?
None.
6. What would you like to have in 2023 that you lacked in 2022?
More sleep and a pain-free back.
7. What date from 2022 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
July 20, when Turbo died.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Still not getting covid? ^^; Successfully potty training Vega. Getting through a rough year with grief and Danne's health getting worse.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not taking enough care of myself and my health, I guess.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
No, nothing except for the usual colds.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
I don't remember. Perhaps something for Vega.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
I don't know.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
So many. Politicians and people in power who use it to make the world a worse place.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Bills, food, train tickets, concerts and other events and things for Vega.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Seeing The Ark and Jakob Hellman live. Spending time with friends. Meeting Arvid for the first time.
16. What song will always remind you of 2022?
Both Sides Now.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) Happier or sadder? Sadder.
b) Thinner or fatter? Same.
c) Richer or poorer? Same.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Working out. Sleeping. Reading. Watching movies. Gaming.

Worrying.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
We spent it at home just the three of us as usual due to my my family having a cold during Christmas.

At home with Danne and Vega. Though Vega was sick and Danne had the flu so it wasn't much of a celebration.

På spåret. The Great British Bake Off. Sjuksystrarna på Fredenslund. Stranger Things.

Till minne av en villkorslös kärlek by Jonas Gardell, which was the only book I read except for lots of children's books.

I really liked Coda.

I was 36. I spent the day at work and the evening at "närakuten" (local emergency clinic) with Vega. Not the best birthday ever.
