Barack Obama and race relations

I consider myself a conservative, and I have liked McCain since 2000, when he ran against Bush in the primaries, but Barack Obama is very, very hard to dislike. His speech today--in response to revelations of controversial statements made by Rev. Jeremiah Wright, his "spiritual advisor"--was, I thought, exactly what it should be.

Personally, I can't stand the guy and I was completely underwhelmed by the speech. He's a typical politician, and danced around issues, pointing out other people's views in the hopes everyone would hear something they like ( ... )

one has to question the man's judgment as a would-be President if he has been sitting in the pews of a racist pastor for 20 years. It is hard to believe that Obama would not have known about the Pastor's personal philosophies especially when he was the one that mentored and baptized Obama into the "Christian" faith. Furthermore, his church now is even being investigated for supporting terror organization such as Hamas. No, I think this man has something to hide. The speech is more like a cover up...reminds me of 1939 Germany....only it is a black man this time.
