so, i just sent jesse pk an e-mail about how i think spider-man 3 will play out. i thought it was sort of interesting and want to put it out on the web somewhere. so here it is!potential spoilers ahead. but my theory isn't what the actual movie wil be like. it's just a theory. so read it if you like.

My prediction goes like this. A cadre of Spidey Super-fans find out that Topher Grace really IS going to be Venom and sabotage every print on it's way to theaters, bankrupting the movie business and dragging every other form of popular entertainment with it. The government takes control of the rioting masses the only way it knows how: by killing them with extreme prejudice. The population of earth, so desperate for entertainment begins filming the spectacle of America destroying itself so much that it becomes our solitary export, and with surprising agility we make the transition to a culture of resolute fucked-upedness the likes of which the world has never seen. I'm talking about Jesse Ventura for president. I'm talking about Paris Hilton being Prime Minister. I'm talking about park benches made of giant dildos that spray acid and spit flaming baby skulls at puppies. All because they didn't get fucking Henry Rollins to play Venom.
