This quote hit home with how I can be very selfish. It really made me check my motives.

interesting. isn't that what a servant/master relationship would be?

You love your slave/servant only because they....obey?

obedience is what i've been taught, not necessarily from my mom, but from the church. i feel if i do nothing then i am lost as a human being. learning how to let myself be loved first, hmmm that's a hard one and the pursuit of that love, is what's even more difficult, but more liberating.
