My surgery is Friday. ... female stuff ... something I've been wanting done for about five years and finally whined at the doctors enough they submitted to the insurance company, who approved it. But I digress

I dont think "good luck" is the most appropriate expression to say when someone's having surgery but I'll be damned if I managed to think up a better one before I hit the submit button...

If you're getting done what i think you are! Tons of women get that particular operation and are back at work within <5 days. I know 4 personally. If i'm wrong, kick me or something :).
But not being scared isn't unusual.. i've never been scared about surgery, if your mortality kicks in, then it was kinda your time to go. I have the same attitude about commercial plane crashes :p.
Big hugs to you though! The soreness and woozyness afterwards isn't so great :/. Although i love the feeling of going under anesthetic :p
