Finals are OOOOVEEEERRR!!!!!! And I'm on my 4-day weekend vacation kinda!!!! WEEEEEEEE!!!
DANIEL, Shadow got brain damage when he fell through the atmosphere. Poor guy... *sweatdrop*
Anyway, I've typed up a new chapter especially for you guys. ^_^

RIIIIIIIIIIING!!! RIIIIIIIIIIING!!! RIIIIIIIIIIIING!!!!!
As his blanket slipped off him, Sonic rolled over on his bed and covered his head with his pillow. "No, not now!!!" he yelled at the alarm clock. He blindly reached over, picked up the alarm clock, and threw it against the wall, smashing it into little pieces. The blue hedgehog suddenly heard singing coming from the bathroom.
"Nakitai toki ni miageta sora wa!
yume wo kuresouna blue sky blue!

Shadow sang as he washed himself in the shower.
"Tell me what you want!
Tell me baby why you cry tonight!
Beside you every time beside you everywhere!

Suddenly, the door to the bathroom burst open and Shadow came out soaking wet with a large towel covering his entire body.
Sonic sat up and rubbed his eyes. "Shad?"
"Yeah?"
"What time is it?"
"It's 6am." He dried himself off and removed the towel.
Sonic covered his eyes. "ARGH!!! I'M SCARRED FOR LIFE!!!!"
"... I'm always naked."
"Oh yah." the hero uncovered his eyes, grinning like an idiot.
"Your turn."
"All right..." Sonic got up, grabbed a green towel and sleepily made his way to the bathroom.
Room D128...
"EGGMAN!!!
EGGMAN!!!
THAT IS MY NAME!!!
MY NAME!!!
MY NAME!!!!" sang Eggman as he danced in the shower... eww, what an awful thought.... o_O;;
Knuckles rolled over on his bed, accidentally falling off. "OWW!!!" He sat up, put the blanket and the pillow back on the bed and scratched the back of his head. "Sheesh, Eggman can't make up a song for crap..."
"EGGMAN!!!!" screamed Eggman as he came out of the bathroom. "Your turn."
"Yeah, yeah, yeah...." mumbled Knuckles as he grabbed a towel and headed inside.
Room D123...
I burst out of the steaming bathroom with a pair of flared black pants, a sky blue sleeveless collar shirt and a light blue jacket over it, the zipper unzipped. My hair was up in a clip and my long bangs fell over the sides of my face.
"Hi J. It’s your turn. And dress up in there!"
"Yes ma'am!!" said Sonic19902 as he grabbed all his clothes and towel and ran in the bathroom.
I walked over to the phone and dialed 9125. A deep voice answered the phone.
"Hallo, Sha-chan."
"Hiya. Why'd you call? I'm all ready but Sonic just has to put on his gloves and shoes and then we're off."
"................ You have to wear clothes."
"WHA?!?!"
"Sorry. It's just that they won't allow people who are nekkid out into Halifax, Canada."
".... That's insane!"
"No, YOU'RE insane."
"No, I'M a moron."
"... Riiiiight. Anyway, get dressed up! And tell Tails for me. I'll tell Knuckles and the girls."
"(sigh) Oh fine. Bye."
"Buh bye."
As I hung up the phone, screaming could be heard in the room beside us.
"o_O What was that?"
Room D124...
"Oh my god, Rhonda!! You look sooo fabulous in that!" Linzy shrieked as Rhonda tried out an outfit for today.
Rhonda giggled LOUDLY. "You look AWESOME too!!!"
"THANK you!!! WANT some M&M's?"
"SURE!!!!"
Linzy pulled the bag of M&M's from under her bed and they popped a few in their mouths.
They started shrieking and jumping around the room again. "WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HEE HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!"
An hour later...
Rouge, Amy, and Tikal all walked out of the elevator, all wearing different things. Amy was wearing all pink (of course), Rouge had on a hooded, baggy black sweater with dark blue jeans, and Tikal had on a red jacket with denim caprice on. They all walked towards the buffet when they spotted Shadow leaning on the rail, looking out into the port with a dark blue loose jacket, and black baggy cargo pants with his regular air shoes on. His eyeglasses were also on his face.
"Hey Shad! C'mon!" Rouge called out to him.
"I'll be there in a minute," replied Shadow.
"'Kay! We'll be at the table!"
"Sure..."
The girls walked inside the buffet as Knuckles exited it. He was wearing a loose white shirt and dark blue baggy cargo pants. A red hooded sweater was tied around his waist. He looked at Shadow and walked towards him.
"Hiya!"
"'Sup."
"Whatcha' looking at?"
"..."
"..."
"....."
"Shadow?"
"..."
"Shadow...?"
"...."
Knuckles shook the black and red hedgehog. "Shadow!! Dude!! Wake up!!!"
"@_@"
"Still sleepy?"
"Yep.... jeez, we slept at about 1:30am last night and we have to get up early," sighed Shadow.
The red echidna looked out to the port also. "Don't defy L-Gurl. She'll.... zap you."
"Eh..."
"I'm going back in. Coming with me?"
"Eh.... sure."
The two headed back inside the buffet where they saw everyone sitting at a big table eating breakfast.
"Good morning!" said S.T., waving.
"'Morning..." Shadow replied.
"I heard that it's real cold outside," Tails said, putting on his white hooded sweater over his red shirt.
I nodded. "It is. Really cold."
"Also," added Sonic, adjusting his green hooded jacket, "I heard that it's gonna rain."
"Is it always cold in Canada?" Linzy asked.
"No, I don't think so,” said S.T.
Sonic19902 slide on his hooded sweater. "C'mon, let's go."
"Oh yeah, and when you're ready to go out of the ship, be ready to show your cruise card. DO NOT LOSE IT!!!" I said to them. The Sonic Crew nodded.
Linzy, Rhonda, S.T., Sonic19902 and I also nodded and I led the authors out into the port.
An hour later, the Sonic Crew finished eating and was heading to the disembarking deck.
"What deck is it?" Eggman asked.
"Deck 4." Tikal replied, looking at the glowing changing numbers in the elevator. Somehow, all eight of them fit inside of it and were now heading out.
*Ding*
"Yay! Les' go!!!" shouted Shadow, running out of the elevator like a moron.
"...."
"He looked so serious when we talked to him," Amy said.
Sonic sighed, slapping his forehead. "He got hold of a bucket of sugar cubes."
"o_O;; SONIKKU, YOU'RE SO CUTE WHEN YOU SLAP YOUR FOREHEAD!!!" squealed Amy, hugging Sonic.
"Please let go."
"I'd rather not."
"Why not?!"
"Because I love you too much!!!!!"
"AUGH!!!"
Eggman raised an eyebrow. "Sonic, I thought you liked her."
"o_O NO WAY, EGGHEAD!!!"
"Suuuuuuure."
"-_-;;"
"You loooove her. You think she's gooorgeous, you wanna kissss her, you wanna huuug her, you wanna looooove her-"
"Eggman, if you don't shaddap, I'll personally pound your head in..."
Eggman rolled his eyes. "You're no fun."
"I know I'm not."
Knux ahemed, gaining the attention of the two. "If you lovebirds would stop talking, we would already be OUT of the elevator and OUTSIDE where Shadow is already waving his arms like a moron!!"
"Uhm," said Tikal, "Shadow's already a moron."
"Oh yeah."
"... This isn't funny at all." Tails said.
I can't help it!!! I need sugar!!!!
The kitsune sighed. "Then go get some!!"
Where?
"The bag of M&M's under your bed."
I have a bag of M&M's under my bed?
"Look, we don't wanna know what's under your bed, okay?!" Sonic screamed. "SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!!"
Amy was happily cuddling with Sonic.
"I'M NOT HAPPY!!! EVERYONE KNOWS HOW I GET WHEN I'M NOT HAPPY!!!!" Sonic yelled again.
"Oh c'mon, stop acting like a stuck-up celebrity." Tikal said.
Sonic burst out sobbing. "NOBODY WUVES ME!!!!"
"I wuve you, Sonikku." Amy giggled. Sonic sobbed even more.
"Augh, whatever!!! Can we go out to Halifax now?!?" Knuckles screamed.
Eggman patted Knuckles's head. "Aww, look at Mr. Impatient!" The fat man quickly withdrew his hand before Knuckles was able to bite it off. Eggman grinned and stuck his tongue out.
"-______-;; CAN WE GO NOW?!?!" yelled Knuckles.
"Suuuure!" everyone grinned, showed the man at the door their cruise cards and went out into Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
"Sheesh! What took so long?" Shadow asked.
"Sonikku, you smell good..." murmured Amy. Sonic tried desperately to get her off him.
"Because of that." said Eggman. Shadow nodded.
Knuckles shivered. "Did anyone realize that it's FREAKIN' COLD?!?!"
"YESH!!!!" everybody yelled out in reply.
Tails looked at the red echidna. "What's with you and shouting today?!"
"I DON'T KNOW!!!! SHADDAP!!!"
"o___O;;"
Rouge shivered. "I-it's so c-c-c-cooold..."
"C-c'mon, don't we have a tour?" asked Tikal.
Eggman pointed to a bus. "There it is!"
"Let's go in before they leave!"
The Sonic Crew started running towards the bus and gave the lady there their tour tickets. Then they went and found a couple of seats in the middle of the bus. Rouge sat next to Knuckles, Sonic next to Amy (he had no choice. ^^;;) Tails in between Shadow and Tikal, and Eggman had a seat of his own.
After a few minutes, the doors of the bus closed and a woman wearing a blue jacket came into the bus. She took off her jacket revealing a red vest with many badges on it. The white-haired woman took the microphone of the bus and greeted everybody onboard.
"Hello everyone! Welcome to Halifax, Nova Scotia! I'm just sayin', but you pronounce Scotia like Scosha! Like the "Sco" in "Scope"! Anyway, I'm your tour guide, Marcy!"
"Hi Marcy!" said the people in the bus.
"And this is our driver, Charlie!"
"Hi Charlie!"
"First off, we're heading to some of the main spots here in Halifax!"
Charlie drove the tour group to some several spots to take pictures in. When they were all back inside the bus, Marcy said, "Now we're heading to the most photographed cove here in Canada! Peggy's Cove!"
Sonic raised his hand.
"Yes?"
"Uhm, what's Peggy's Cove?"
"I'll explain it on the way there."
"Okay."
On the way to the cove, it started raining heavily. Rouge looked out the window.
"Man, we don't have umbrellas!" she said, sighing. A man with a green tunic and gray leggings was following the bus on a brown horse.
"HEY!!! HEY!!!! WAIT FOR MEEEEEEE!!!" he screamed. "WAIT FOR MEEE!!! PLEASE!!!" then he threw off his tunic and was out in the rain wearing only his gray leggings and a green hat. o______O;;;; (Shad: What the heck?!) Link's an idiot, remember? (Shad: Oh yeah. Of course.)
Rouge quickly glanced away from the window. "I did not see that...." Knuckles, who was next to her heard what Rouge said.
"See what?" he asked.
"Nothing."
"But-"
"NOTHING!!!"
"Yes mommy!!!"
From behind them, Tikal was playing cards with Tails. Shadow was sitting on the edge, half of his butt seated on the bus seat. Tikal looked at him. "You okay? Need me to scoot over?"
"Nah, I'm fine. I'm looking at the road ahead anyway."
"Sure?"
"Yeah."
"All right then."
Tikal scooted more inside anyway which caused Tails to scoot more inside too.
"Peggy's Cove is... a.... cove!" Marcy said. The people in the bus sweatdropped. "It's a very famous cove! Thank you very much!" Then she put the microphone away and sat down.
Sonic looked to the left where Shadow was crouching his back, his right elbow on his knee while his chin rested on his right hand. He was looking at the road ahead.
"She's not really a good tour guide, is she?"
"Nope. Is Amy still on you?"
Sonic lifted his arm, revealing the pink hedgehog snuggling on it. "Yep."
"I feel so sorry for you."
"Wait until YOU get someone who's totally obsessed with you!!!"
"LOTSA girls are obsessed with me!" Sonic smacked him over the head. "Oww!!"
"-_-;;"
The bus entered a beach-like place where it halted to a stop.
"Here we are!" said Marcy. "Watch your step, it's slippery and raining outside! And strong winds too! Please enjoy! And come back here at 1:45pm!"
Eggman raised his hand.
"Yes?"
"So we just stay in this area?"
"Yes."
"And when we come back, how do we know which bus is ours?"
Marcy placed a huge horse plushie behind the window of the bus. "There's your mark."
"Okay."
Everyone on the bus made their way outside. It was raining like crazy and the winds were insane too!
"AAAAAAUUUUGGGGHHH!!! I'M GONNA BE blown AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!" Tails said, grasping onto Tikal's arm for support.
"Let's get outta the rain!!" Sonic said loudly. The Sonic Crew nodded and rushed into the huge gift shop where it was really crowded.
"Ah sheesh!!" Knuckles said as he almost fell over. "Watch where you're going!!!"
The lady who almost pushed him over looked over her shoulder and glared at him. Then she proceeded to the cash register.
"Dang, what a grouch..." muttered Knuckles.
"Hey! Let's do some browsing!" Amy said to the girls. They nodded excitedly and began to split up when Sonic called them.
"Wait! Before you go, let's meet at the restaurant next door at..." he glanced at his watch. It was 11:15am. "Meet there at 12:30pm. We'll have a brunch there."
"All right." everybody said, and then they split up.
With Tails...
"Wait, why am I alone? Aren't I too young to be by myself?" Tails asked out loud, looking at the key chains. A man sneaked up behind him and grabbed him by the arm.
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" shrieked Tails, immediately grabbing the hand with both arms and flinging it over his shoulder.
"STUPID KID!!!" muttered the man, getting up and running away.
"o_O;; Was he trying to kidnap me?!"
"NO!!! I WANTED YOUR MONEY!!!" said the man from a distance.
"I have money?" the kitsune asked himself. He reached into his sweater pocket and pulled out a bunch of 20-dollar bills. He grinned widely.
With Shadow...
He was on the second level of the store, looking at something. "I'm broke...." Shadow whined, reaching into his sweater pockets to find nothing. He also reached into the pockets of his cargo pants but also found nothing. "Man, I wish I asked money from Sonic before we split... he still has plenty of money from last time..." Shadow sighed and looked at the snow globe on display. "Thirty dollars for a snow globe.... I want a snow globe... I don't even have a penny...."
He sighed again and walked away from the display case, looking at the personalized key chains with names on them. "Hmm.... Shadow... Shadow... Shadow...." he murmured, searching through the different key chains. He finally got to the "S" section but couldn't find his name. "Why don't they ever have Shadow here?!?! I'm going to complain!!!!" he yelled.
Shadow stomped to the cashier's desk and pointed at the key chains. "How come you don't have the name 'Shadow' in there?!?!"
"Um, I'm sorry, but-" began the cashier, but then Shadow cut in.
"Sorry?! How can you not have 'Shadow' on there?! What kind of service IS this?!"
"Shadow isn't a common name sir-"
"Is THAT the reason why my name isn't there?!"
"Sir-"
"I can't believe this!!! This is a bad store!!! Shadow is a fine name, and you don't have it on your key chains!! You should be ashamed!!!" screamed the black and red hedgehog, slamming his fists on the desk and then stomping downstairs.
"o_O;;;;"
With Rouge....
"Oh, what an adorable jacket!" said Rouge, taking a cotton sweater from the rack. It was a kind of gray color with a picture of a girl with a baby wolf. On the back, it said: "Peggy's Cove" in a nice font.
"Wait," Rouge said, "how does a wolf relate to Peggy?" The bat shrugged and put the sweater back on the racket. She folded her arms, and continued walking around until she found a weird-shaped thingy on an open display.
"What's this?" she asked herself, picking it up with both hands. It was a hand-shaped glass thingy that said "Peggy's Cove" in nice letters. And it was about a little bigger than her hand. "o_O"
Putting down the glass hand, she reached into her pocket to find about 50 dollars. "I only have 50 dollars... how much is this thing..." she picked up the glass hand again and it read 18 dollars. Rouge shrugged and decided to buy it. 'Man, I have weird taste....' she thought. She continued browsing the shop and saw a cute wolf plushie. "KAWAIIII!!!" the vampire bat squealed, picking up the white wolf plushie. It read 5 dollars. "I'll get this too!"
With Tikal....
Tikal walked around the shop, her hands folded behind her. "What to buy.... what to buy..." She looked at a kind of grayish sweater with a girl and a baby wolf on the front. "That's cute...." She then looked at the price tag. 25 dollars. Tikal counted her money. "Hey! I have enough!" she took the sweater from the rack and continued browsing the shop.
She went upstairs and looked at the display case. "Man, I wanna get something for Shadow. I don't know why. I just want to. I have a feeling he's broke." She spotted a pretty snow globe on the case. The price tag read 30 dollars. "Dang. Pretty expensive, kinda... but oh well." Tikal talked to the cashier.
"Hi! Can I get that snow globe up there?" the orange echidna said politely, pointing at the globe.
"No."
"No?"
"No."
"Why not?"
"No."
"Is it for sale?"
"No."
"Are you going to sell it to anyone?"
"No."
"So you mean you're reserving it for someone?"
"No."
"Then why can't I have it?!"
The cashier reached up behind him and retrieved the globe and gave it to Tikal. "No."
"o______O;; Is that the only thing you can say?"
"No."
"What else can you say?"
"Are you paying for these both?"
"Yes!"
"$46.45"
"About 47 dollars only?!"
"Yep. There's a snow globe sale today. 10 dollars off each one."
"Cool!!" Tikal paid the man the money and he put the sweater and the globe in a plastic bag, giving it to Tikal.
"Thank you for your purchase."
"No problem!" As she walked away from the desk, she pulled out the snow globe and touched the globe itself. "Whoa!! It's all jelly-like! How cool!" she started poking the globe over and over.
With Amy....
Amy held up a red sweater. "Hmm... nah. It's not pink." she put it back.
Then she headed upstairs and found a box full of toys. The pink hedgehog peered in and looked at all the toys. "Uuuhhm, okay then." As she turned around, she bumped into the lady who almost knocked Knuckles down before. "Oh! I'm sorry."
The lady glared at her then moved on.
"o_o What's up with her?" said Amy to herself. She shrugged and saw some wind chimes on display. "Pretty! .... It's 10 bucks. Okay..." Amy took the wind chime from the rack and went back downstairs. She looked at the personalized key chains. ".... Ah! There's Amy!" she took the key chain and continued to browse.
"Augh... it's getting boring without Sonikku..." Amy sighed while walking aimlessly around the shop. "I'll go find him now!!!"
With Knuckles...
"Man, I don't wanna buy anything...." muttered Knuckles. "Ah well. I might as well get a souvenir." He shrugged and took a cup with "Peggy's Cove, Halifax, Nova Scotia" engraved on it. "Hmm. A souvenir cup. Cool."
On his way to the cash register, he once again bumped into the lady.
"Sorry." said Knuckles. The lady glared at him once more then walked off. "Sheesh, what's up with her?!"
As soon as Knuckles was next in line, he put the cup on the desk and pulled out his wallet.
"Is this all sir?" asked the cashier.
"Mmm hmm."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah."
"We have plenty of other stuff."
"I know."
"Would you be interested in a glass hand?" asked the cashier, holding up a glass hand.
"o_o No."
"How about a key chain? A sweater?"
"I just want this cup."
"That's it?"
"YES."
"So I can't interest you in something else?"
"(sigh) Why don't I just take this back," said Knuckles, grabbing the cup, "And return it to where it came?"
"Oh no, no!! Please buy!"
The red echidna put the cup back on the table. "Then don't interest me in anything else."
"You sure?"
"THIS. CUP. IS. ALL. I. WANT."
"$12.33"
The red echidna paid the annoying cashier and took the plastic bag from the man. He flung it over his shoulder and started walking towards the restaurant next door. "Might as well be early..."
With Eggman...
Eggman walked around the store aimlessly. "There's nothing I want.... I wonder if there's a book three of my Evil Plans for Dummies book..."
Dr. Robotnik started looking for the book section of the store when he reached a cashier desk. "Hello," Eggman greeted, "Can you tell me where the book section is?"
"Hi, the book section is up the stairs, turn right, and it should be right there."
"Okay, thanks."
Eggman started walking upstairs.
10 minutes later....
The evil man reached the top of the stairs, panting hard. He turned right and found no books at all. "Huh? Where's the... (pant) books?" he walked to another desk. "'Scuse me, but where's the book section?"
"Turn around, turn right, go forward, make a left at the end of the hall, then make a right at the hats."
"Thanks."
Eggman turned around, turned right and went forward. He made a left at the end of the hall then made a right at the hats. In front of him was a shelf full of delicate glass figures.
"Where the heck is the book section?!" he walked around again and found another cashier. "Please tell me where the book section is."
"Down the stairs, make a left, then go straight."
"Thank you."
Eggman started downstairs, but then tripped, causing him to roll down the stairs, flattening a few people. Once he got to the bottom, he got up and dusted himself off. Making a left and going forward, he came face to face with another cashier. Dr. Robotnik was furiated and grabbed the collar of the female cashier.
"TELL ME THE CORRECT DIRECTION TO THE STUPID BOOK SECTION PLEASE." he demanded. The cashier gulped.
"I-it's.... right beside the entrance." she said, pointing. Eggman looked over and saw a whole shelf of books. He let go of the cashier and fell over.
With Sonic...
Hanging on his left arm was a blanket with a nice design on it, and on his right hand was a shopping basket that had necklaces, cups, key chains, and other souvenir thingies in it.
"I think I'm done..." Sonic murmured, looking at his stuff. When he got in line for the cash register, he saw a pink thing walking towards him. "Uh oh."
"Hi Sonic!" Amy said, and just as she was about to hug him, she saw the stuff he was carrying. "What's this?" She took the blanket on Sonic's left arm and held it in front of her. "Why are you buying a blanket with a wolf on it?"
"It's for me."
"o_O You're weirder than I thought you were... you must've got it from Shadow since you're always around him."
"Probably! ^___^ Where is Shadow anyway?"
The pink hedgehog shrugged and hanged the blanket on Sonic's left arm again. "I don't know. Have you seen him?"
"Nope."
"I'm broke I'm broke I'm broke I'm broke..." said Shadow to himself as he walked absentmindedly around the store, right behind Amy and Sonic. They glanced at him.
"Well, there he is." Amy said.
Sonic sweatdropped. "He's broke? It's a good thing I got some thingies for him."
"You got thingies for him?!?!" Amy screamed, grabbing Sonic by the collar of his jacket. He gulped.
"Y-Yes...."
"How about me?!?!"
"You too!!! I got thingies for everybody!!!"
"EVEN ME?!?!" asked Eggman from upstairs.
"YEP!!"
"YAY!!! IS IT FOOD?!?!"
"NOPE!"
"DAGNABBIT!!!"
"o_O;;" Amy put Sonic down. "Ah well. I'll meet you at the restaurant thingy. Bai!"
"Bye!"
Amy walked out of the store with her stuff in hand. Sonic stared at her dreamily when a hit to the head knocked him back to reality.
"Wha?!"
"Hello? You're next!" said the cashier.
"Oh, sorry..."
12:15pm...
"I don't even have a souvenir!!!!!" sobbed Shadow, his face buried in his hands, sobbing loudly. Eggman patted him on the back, sweatdropping.
"Don't worry Shadow, you'll get a souvenir at the next stop!"
"I don't have any money!!"
"Why didn't you ask for money from Sonic before we split up?" Rouge asked.
"Because I thought I had money!"
"You thought wrong," said Knuckles.
Tails reached into his bag. "Um, here, you can have this," he said as he handed Shadow a wooden block that says "Peggy’s Cove".
Shadow sniffed and handed it back to Tails. "No thanks.... what I really had my eye on was this snow globe thingy that I saw..."
"Oh.... uh, your glasses are soaked."
The black and red hedgehog took them off and rubbed the lenses with his sweater. Then he put them back on and proceeded crying hysterically.
Amy walked into the restaurant and sat at the table where Knuckles, Shadow, Rouge, Tails and Eggman were seated. "Hi guys!"
"AMYYYYYYYYY!!!!" sobbed Shadow, throwing himself in Amy's arms, sobbing uncontrollably. She raised an eyebrow and looked at Knuckles with a questioning look.
"He doesn't have a souvenir," replied the red echidna. Amy nodded her head in understanding. She patted Shadow on the back, gently pushing him away. "Aww Shad, it's okay. I'll buy you something at the next stop."
"Really?" Amy nodded. "YAY!!!"
Tikal and Sonic walked into the restaurant to find everybody waiting for them.
Sonic looked at his watch. "What's up? You guys are early."
"Yep! I was the first one here." Knuckles replied. "Then Shadow, then Eggman, then Rouge, then Tails, then Amy."
"Ah...."
The two sat down at the table.
Tails, Knuckles, Rouge, and Tikal sat on the right side of the table in that order. Sonic, Amy, Shadow and Eggman sat on the left side in that order. The left side was the nearest to the exit.
Sonic called on a waitress. One of them came over. "Hello, what would you suggest we would eat here in Halifax?" Sonic asked politely.
"Well, our special is gingerbread with ice cream topped on it!" said the waitress.
The blue hedgehog grinned. "Okay! We'll have eight of those and eight hot chocolates."
"All right." the waitress walked away and Sonic faced the group.
"Man, it's so cold!" he said.
Knuckles rubbed his arms. "Yeah! Even inside the stores, it's still freakin' cold!"
Tikal took a deep breath and laid her bag on the ground. "So! What did you buy, guys?"
Eggman reached into his plastic bag and took out a book. "I bought 'Evil Plans For Dummies Book 3! Even more cunning plans to take over the world!'"
Everybody fell off the table. They slowly crawled back on and sweatdropped.
"Eggman, you still read that crap?" Amy asked. He nodded.
"Yeah. Someone took one of my books and I can't find it."
Shadow raised his hand.
"O_o Uhm, yes, Shadow?"
"I think I have it! I looked at it in the airplane-"
Tails screamed. "AAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!! AIRPLANE!!!! WHERE??!?!?!" he shouted, ducking under the table. Knuckles, who was next to him, pulled him back up.
"Stop that!!"
"A-airplane... scary.... we're all gonna die...." Tails murmured. Everyone scooted away from him.
"Ooookay..." Sonic said. "Whatever...."
Knuckles held up a cup. "I got this little souvenir cup for myself. It's not much but it's proof that I went here!"
"Cool."
Rouge took out her bag. "My turn!" she shuffled in the bag for a few seconds when she finally took out a wolf plushie. "Look at the cuteness everybody!!!" she held it in front of the boys' eyes and they hissed like cats.
"THE CUTENESS!!!" the boys screamed, shielding their eyes. Then, Rouge held it in front of the girls' eyes.
"THE CUTENESS!!!" the girls squealed, looking at the wolf plushie and admiring the cuteness emitting from it.
"Hold on..." Rouge put the plushie back in the bag and then took out a glass hand. "I got this too!"
"o_O; You got that?!" Knuckles said bewildered. Rouge nodded. "Why?!"
"Cuz."
"What is it anyway?"
"I don't know."
"o_o"
"But I think it's cool! Maybe it's a paperweight or something."
"And you need a paperweight becaaauuse?"
"I dunno."
Rouge put the hand back in the plastic bag and Amy took out a wind chime. "Purdy, huh?"
"Mmm hmm!!" everybody said.
"Where'd you get it?" Eggman asked.
Amy leaned in, and everybody also leaned in. "I got it at...." she glanced around. "A secret corner of the shop!"
Everyone sweatdropped and resumed sitting normally. The pink hedgehog grinned and then took out a key chain. "And this too. That's it."
Tails nodded and took out his bag. "I got a deck of cards, a wooden block with Peggy's Cove on it, a mini snow globe, and an umbrella."
"A snow globe?" Shadow asked. "Can I see?"
Tails reached into his bag, pulled out the snow globe and gave it to Shadow. He studied it. "Hmm. This isn't the one I had my eye on." he sighed and gave it back to the kitsune.
"You had your eye on a snow globe?" Tikal asked. Shadow nodded. The spirit grinned and searched for one of her buyings in her bag. She took out a snow globe that had words that said "Peggy's Cove" in it and a little man floating around it. Little sprinkles were floating everywhere. The surface was soft and jelly-like. Shadow stared at it.
"That's the one!" he said. Then he frowned. "But I'm broke."
Tikal smiled again and handed it to Shadow. "I bought that for you."
"Really?!"
"Yeah. I had a feeling you were broke."
Shadow leaped over the table and into Tikal's arms. "THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOOOUUU!!!!!" he said over and over and hugged Tikal tightly.
"S'okay!! I can't breathe!!!"
"Sorry!" Shadow let go and leaped back in his seat, watching the floating man float all around the globe.
Sonic grinned. "I also got something for you, Shad."
Shadow looked up. "Really?!"
Sonic nodded. "Yep." he took out a key chain that said "Shadow" on it, and handed it to the black and red hedgehog.
"YAY!!!!" Shadow squeezed Sonic.
"...."
"....... Is he turning blue?" Rouge asked, studying Sonic's face.
Knuckles walked around him. "Can't tell. He's always blue."
"HELP.... MEEE....." Sonic coughed out.
"Oh! Yeah he is!!" Knuckles sweatdropped and pulled Shadow away.
"PHEW!!" Sonic breathed. "You're welcome, Shadow."

Amy giggled. "Shadow's like a wittle baby!"
"AM NOT!!!!!!!!!"

Sonic spoke up. "ARE TOO!!!"

"Man, I missed the insanity!" Eggman grinned, looking up from his book. "It's a good thing it's back!"
Two waitresses came by, each holding two trays. They put one hot chocolate and a gingerbread topped with ice cream plate in front of each Sonic Crew character.
"Enjoy!" said the ladies. One of them put the check on the table then they walked away.
"Ooooh wow, looks yummy!" said Tails, picking up his fork and taking a bite of the gingerbread. "Mmm!!! It ish yummy!!!!" Then he started chowing down.
Rouge took a bite of the ice cream. "... Vanilla? Ah well, it'll do."
"It's kinda too sweet..." Tikal said.
Sonic took another bite of the bread and ice cream. "I think it's good!"
"Me too!" agreed Shadow.
Eggman was finished with his meal and was now slowly drinking his hot chocolate. "This is good too... (sip)"
Knuckles smirked. "You think EVERYTHING is good."
"Not everything."
Everybody gasped. "OHMYGOD!!!"
"-_-;;"
"What is it that you don't like?" Amy asked.
"I don't like pizza."
"O_O PIZZA?!?!"
Shadow almost choked on his food. "YOU don't like PIZZA?! Of all foods not to like!!!"
"What? I think I'm allergic to it."
"Dang. That sucks for you!"
"I don't like it anyway so eh."
"Why not?" Eggman whacked Shadow over the head. "Oww!! What was that for?!"
"For being an idiot!!! Again!! I just said that I think I'm allergic to pizza, that's why I don't like it."
"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOhhhh!!!!"
Sonic looked at his watch. "AHHHHHHH!!! IT'S 1:45!" he screamed.
Amy lowered her cup of hot chocolate and tilted her head to her left where Sonic was sitting at. "So?"
"We have to be in the bus by 1:45!!!!"
They were silent for a few minutes. "AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Sonic slammed some money on the table, everybody gathered their belongings, and ran out of the restaurant to their bus. They rushed into the bus and sat down in their seats where Sonic, Amy, and Eggman was on the right side and Shadow, Tikal, Knuckles, Rouge, and Tails were on the left.
The other people in the bus glared at them and they grinned nervously.
"Sorry we're late...." Sonic said nervously to Marcy.
"Ah, that's okay. Enjoying the gingerbread, ice cream and hot chocolate?"
"Yeah."
"Of course! Who else has enjoyed those delightful meals?"
Everyone on the bus raised their hands.
"Great! Anyway, we're off to drop you off at the ship!"
Charlie started up the engine and they were already out of Peggy's Cove.
"It's gonna take about an hour to get back to the dock, so we'll just let you rest up." Marcy continued.
30 minutes of driving later....
Amy stared at the rain pouring outside while Sonic slept soundly on her shoulder. From behind them, Eggman was contently reading his book, pausing time to time to think if he should do the plan he just read or not.
On the left side, Rouge slept against Knuckles as the red echidna slept against the wall of the bus, his arm around the bat's shoulders. In front of them, Tikal had leaned her head back against the seat and was also sleeping; her head tilted to the left a bit. Tails had his head in Tikal's lap as he too slept. Beside him was Shadow, kinda crouching on his back. His right elbow was on his knee, his chin resting in the palm of his right hand. He wasn't sleeping, but he was looking at the road ahead.
"Shadow," Amy said to him. Shadow looked up.
"Yeah?"
"Why aren't you a moron in this chapter?"
"Because L-Gurl is weird."
"Oh okay."
"..." Shadow resumed looking ahead.
Amy sighed and tried to speak loudly, but not too loud as to wake Sonic up. "Eggman?"
"..."
"Dr. Robotnik?" Amy said louder. Sonic stirred a bit.
"Yes?" asked Eggman from behind her.
"What are you doing?"
"Reading my book."
"Heh."
"..."
Amy sighed as she leaned on the bus wall. "Auuuggghhhhhhhh..... the BOREDOM......"
Knuckles stirred and murmured, "I'm supposed to say that...."
"Knux? You awake?"
"..."
"Dang it!"
"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" Sonic screamed, waking up and sitting upright.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" screamed Shadow.
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!" screamed Tails.
"AAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!" screamed Tikal.
"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" screamed Knuckles.
"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" screamed Rouge.
Everybody stared at Sonic. "What happened?" Tails said, rubbing his eyes.
Sonic blinked, shook his head, and resumed sleeping. The people who were previously sleeping rolled their eyes and also resumed sleeping.
"o_O What was that about?" Amy asked no one in particular.
"Dunno," replied Eggman, "but I do know that the capital of California is Sacramento!"
The pink hedgehog sighed. "Aaaaaauuuuuuuuggghhhh........"

As his blanket slipped off him, Sonic rolled over on his bed and covered his head with his pillow. "No, not now!!!" he yelled at the alarm clock. He blindly reached over, picked up the alarm clock, and threw it against the wall, smashing it into little pieces. The blue hedgehog suddenly heard singing coming from the bathroom.

Suddenly, the door to the bathroom burst open and Shadow came out soaking wet with a large towel covering his entire body.
Sonic sat up and rubbed his eyes. "Shad?"
"Yeah?"
"What time is it?"
"It's 6am." He dried himself off and removed the towel.
Sonic covered his eyes. "ARGH!!! I'M SCARRED FOR LIFE!!!!"
"... I'm always naked."
"Oh yah." the hero uncovered his eyes, grinning like an idiot.
"Your turn."
"All right..." Sonic got up, grabbed a green towel and sleepily made his way to the bathroom.

"EGGMAN!!!

THAT IS MY NAME!!!

MY NAME!!!!" sang Eggman as he danced in the shower... eww, what an awful thought.... o_O;;
Knuckles rolled over on his bed, accidentally falling off. "OWW!!!" He sat up, put the blanket and the pillow back on the bed and scratched the back of his head. "Sheesh, Eggman can't make up a song for crap..."
"EGGMAN!!!!" screamed Eggman as he came out of the bathroom. "Your turn."
"Yeah, yeah, yeah...." mumbled Knuckles as he grabbed a towel and headed inside.
Room D123...
I burst out of the steaming bathroom with a pair of flared black pants, a sky blue sleeveless collar shirt and a light blue jacket over it, the zipper unzipped. My hair was up in a clip and my long bangs fell over the sides of my face.
"Hi J. It’s your turn. And dress up in there!"
"Yes ma'am!!" said Sonic19902 as he grabbed all his clothes and towel and ran in the bathroom.
I walked over to the phone and dialed 9125. A deep voice answered the phone.
"Hallo, Sha-chan."
"Hiya. Why'd you call? I'm all ready but Sonic just has to put on his gloves and shoes and then we're off."
"................ You have to wear clothes."
"WHA?!?!"
"Sorry. It's just that they won't allow people who are nekkid out into Halifax, Canada."
".... That's insane!"
"No, YOU'RE insane."
"No, I'M a moron."
"... Riiiiight. Anyway, get dressed up! And tell Tails for me. I'll tell Knuckles and the girls."
"(sigh) Oh fine. Bye."
"Buh bye."
As I hung up the phone, screaming could be heard in the room beside us.
"o_O What was that?"

"Oh my god, Rhonda!! You look sooo fabulous in that!" Linzy shrieked as Rhonda tried out an outfit for today.
Rhonda giggled LOUDLY. "You look AWESOME too!!!"
"THANK you!!! WANT some M&M's?"
"SURE!!!!"
Linzy pulled the bag of M&M's from under her bed and they popped a few in their mouths.
They started shrieking and jumping around the room again. "WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HEE HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!"
An hour later...
Rouge, Amy, and Tikal all walked out of the elevator, all wearing different things. Amy was wearing all pink (of course), Rouge had on a hooded, baggy black sweater with dark blue jeans, and Tikal had on a red jacket with denim caprice on. They all walked towards the buffet when they spotted Shadow leaning on the rail, looking out into the port with a dark blue loose jacket, and black baggy cargo pants with his regular air shoes on. His eyeglasses were also on his face.
"Hey Shad! C'mon!" Rouge called out to him.
"I'll be there in a minute," replied Shadow.
"'Kay! We'll be at the table!"
"Sure..."
The girls walked inside the buffet as Knuckles exited it. He was wearing a loose white shirt and dark blue baggy cargo pants. A red hooded sweater was tied around his waist. He looked at Shadow and walked towards him.
"Hiya!"
"'Sup."
"Whatcha' looking at?"
"..."
"..."
"....."
"Shadow?"
"..."
"Shadow...?"
"...."
Knuckles shook the black and red hedgehog. "Shadow!! Dude!! Wake up!!!"
"@_@"
"Still sleepy?"
"Yep.... jeez, we slept at about 1:30am last night and we have to get up early," sighed Shadow.
The red echidna looked out to the port also. "Don't defy L-Gurl. She'll.... zap you."
"Eh..."
"I'm going back in. Coming with me?"
"Eh.... sure."
The two headed back inside the buffet where they saw everyone sitting at a big table eating breakfast.
"Good morning!" said S.T., waving.
"'Morning..." Shadow replied.
"I heard that it's real cold outside," Tails said, putting on his white hooded sweater over his red shirt.
I nodded. "It is. Really cold."
"Also," added Sonic, adjusting his green hooded jacket, "I heard that it's gonna rain."
"Is it always cold in Canada?" Linzy asked.
"No, I don't think so,” said S.T.
Sonic19902 slide on his hooded sweater. "C'mon, let's go."
"Oh yeah, and when you're ready to go out of the ship, be ready to show your cruise card. DO NOT LOSE IT!!!" I said to them. The Sonic Crew nodded.
Linzy, Rhonda, S.T., Sonic19902 and I also nodded and I led the authors out into the port.
An hour later, the Sonic Crew finished eating and was heading to the disembarking deck.
"What deck is it?" Eggman asked.
"Deck 4." Tikal replied, looking at the glowing changing numbers in the elevator. Somehow, all eight of them fit inside of it and were now heading out.
*Ding*
"Yay! Les' go!!!" shouted Shadow, running out of the elevator like a moron.
"...."
"He looked so serious when we talked to him," Amy said.
Sonic sighed, slapping his forehead. "He got hold of a bucket of sugar cubes."
"o_O;; SONIKKU, YOU'RE SO CUTE WHEN YOU SLAP YOUR FOREHEAD!!!" squealed Amy, hugging Sonic.
"Please let go."
"I'd rather not."
"Why not?!"
"Because I love you too much!!!!!"
"AUGH!!!"
Eggman raised an eyebrow. "Sonic, I thought you liked her."
"o_O NO WAY, EGGHEAD!!!"
"Suuuuuuure."

"You loooove her. You think she's gooorgeous, you wanna kissss her, you wanna huuug her, you wanna looooove her-"
"Eggman, if you don't shaddap, I'll personally pound your head in..."
Eggman rolled his eyes. "You're no fun."
"I know I'm not."
Knux ahemed, gaining the attention of the two. "If you lovebirds would stop talking, we would already be OUT of the elevator and OUTSIDE where Shadow is already waving his arms like a moron!!"
"Uhm," said Tikal, "Shadow's already a moron."
"Oh yeah."
"... This isn't funny at all." Tails said.
I can't help it!!! I need sugar!!!!
The kitsune sighed. "Then go get some!!"
Where?
"The bag of M&M's under your bed."
I have a bag of M&M's under my bed?
"Look, we don't wanna know what's under your bed, okay?!" Sonic screamed. "SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!!"
Amy was happily cuddling with Sonic.
"I'M NOT HAPPY!!! EVERYONE KNOWS HOW I GET WHEN I'M NOT HAPPY!!!!" Sonic yelled again.
"Oh c'mon, stop acting like a stuck-up celebrity." Tikal said.
Sonic burst out sobbing. "NOBODY WUVES ME!!!!"
"I wuve you, Sonikku." Amy giggled. Sonic sobbed even more.
"Augh, whatever!!! Can we go out to Halifax now?!?" Knuckles screamed.
Eggman patted Knuckles's head. "Aww, look at Mr. Impatient!" The fat man quickly withdrew his hand before Knuckles was able to bite it off. Eggman grinned and stuck his tongue out.
"-______-;; CAN WE GO NOW?!?!" yelled Knuckles.
"Suuuure!" everyone grinned, showed the man at the door their cruise cards and went out into Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
"Sheesh! What took so long?" Shadow asked.
"Sonikku, you smell good..." murmured Amy. Sonic tried desperately to get her off him.
"Because of that." said Eggman. Shadow nodded.
Knuckles shivered. "Did anyone realize that it's FREAKIN' COLD?!?!"
"YESH!!!!" everybody yelled out in reply.
Tails looked at the red echidna. "What's with you and shouting today?!"
"I DON'T KNOW!!!! SHADDAP!!!"
"o___O;;"
Rouge shivered. "I-it's so c-c-c-cooold..."
"C-c'mon, don't we have a tour?" asked Tikal.
Eggman pointed to a bus. "There it is!"
"Let's go in before they leave!"
The Sonic Crew started running towards the bus and gave the lady there their tour tickets. Then they went and found a couple of seats in the middle of the bus. Rouge sat next to Knuckles, Sonic next to Amy (he had no choice. ^^;;) Tails in between Shadow and Tikal, and Eggman had a seat of his own.
After a few minutes, the doors of the bus closed and a woman wearing a blue jacket came into the bus. She took off her jacket revealing a red vest with many badges on it. The white-haired woman took the microphone of the bus and greeted everybody onboard.
"Hello everyone! Welcome to Halifax, Nova Scotia! I'm just sayin', but you pronounce Scotia like Scosha! Like the "Sco" in "Scope"! Anyway, I'm your tour guide, Marcy!"
"Hi Marcy!" said the people in the bus.
"And this is our driver, Charlie!"
"Hi Charlie!"
"First off, we're heading to some of the main spots here in Halifax!"
Charlie drove the tour group to some several spots to take pictures in. When they were all back inside the bus, Marcy said, "Now we're heading to the most photographed cove here in Canada! Peggy's Cove!"
Sonic raised his hand.
"Yes?"
"Uhm, what's Peggy's Cove?"
"I'll explain it on the way there."
"Okay."
On the way to the cove, it started raining heavily. Rouge looked out the window.
"Man, we don't have umbrellas!" she said, sighing. A man with a green tunic and gray leggings was following the bus on a brown horse.
"HEY!!! HEY!!!! WAIT FOR MEEEEEEE!!!" he screamed. "WAIT FOR MEEE!!! PLEASE!!!" then he threw off his tunic and was out in the rain wearing only his gray leggings and a green hat. o______O;;;; (Shad: What the heck?!) Link's an idiot, remember? (Shad: Oh yeah. Of course.)
Rouge quickly glanced away from the window. "I did not see that...." Knuckles, who was next to her heard what Rouge said.
"See what?" he asked.
"Nothing."
"But-"
"NOTHING!!!"
"Yes mommy!!!"
From behind them, Tikal was playing cards with Tails. Shadow was sitting on the edge, half of his butt seated on the bus seat. Tikal looked at him. "You okay? Need me to scoot over?"
"Nah, I'm fine. I'm looking at the road ahead anyway."
"Sure?"
"Yeah."
"All right then."
Tikal scooted more inside anyway which caused Tails to scoot more inside too.
"Peggy's Cove is... a.... cove!" Marcy said. The people in the bus sweatdropped. "It's a very famous cove! Thank you very much!" Then she put the microphone away and sat down.
Sonic looked to the left where Shadow was crouching his back, his right elbow on his knee while his chin rested on his right hand. He was looking at the road ahead.
"She's not really a good tour guide, is she?"
"Nope. Is Amy still on you?"
Sonic lifted his arm, revealing the pink hedgehog snuggling on it. "Yep."
"I feel so sorry for you."
"Wait until YOU get someone who's totally obsessed with you!!!"
"LOTSA girls are obsessed with me!" Sonic smacked him over the head. "Oww!!"

The bus entered a beach-like place where it halted to a stop.
"Here we are!" said Marcy. "Watch your step, it's slippery and raining outside! And strong winds too! Please enjoy! And come back here at 1:45pm!"
Eggman raised his hand.
"Yes?"
"So we just stay in this area?"
"Yes."
"And when we come back, how do we know which bus is ours?"
Marcy placed a huge horse plushie behind the window of the bus. "There's your mark."
"Okay."
Everyone on the bus made their way outside. It was raining like crazy and the winds were insane too!
"AAAAAAUUUUGGGGHHH!!! I'M GONNA BE blown AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!" Tails said, grasping onto Tikal's arm for support.
"Let's get outta the rain!!" Sonic said loudly. The Sonic Crew nodded and rushed into the huge gift shop where it was really crowded.
"Ah sheesh!!" Knuckles said as he almost fell over. "Watch where you're going!!!"
The lady who almost pushed him over looked over her shoulder and glared at him. Then she proceeded to the cash register.
"Dang, what a grouch..." muttered Knuckles.
"Hey! Let's do some browsing!" Amy said to the girls. They nodded excitedly and began to split up when Sonic called them.
"Wait! Before you go, let's meet at the restaurant next door at..." he glanced at his watch. It was 11:15am. "Meet there at 12:30pm. We'll have a brunch there."
"All right." everybody said, and then they split up.
With Tails...
"Wait, why am I alone? Aren't I too young to be by myself?" Tails asked out loud, looking at the key chains. A man sneaked up behind him and grabbed him by the arm.
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" shrieked Tails, immediately grabbing the hand with both arms and flinging it over his shoulder.
"STUPID KID!!!" muttered the man, getting up and running away.
"o_O;; Was he trying to kidnap me?!"
"NO!!! I WANTED YOUR MONEY!!!" said the man from a distance.
"I have money?" the kitsune asked himself. He reached into his sweater pocket and pulled out a bunch of 20-dollar bills. He grinned widely.
With Shadow...
He was on the second level of the store, looking at something. "I'm broke...." Shadow whined, reaching into his sweater pockets to find nothing. He also reached into the pockets of his cargo pants but also found nothing. "Man, I wish I asked money from Sonic before we split... he still has plenty of money from last time..." Shadow sighed and looked at the snow globe on display. "Thirty dollars for a snow globe.... I want a snow globe... I don't even have a penny...."
He sighed again and walked away from the display case, looking at the personalized key chains with names on them. "Hmm.... Shadow... Shadow... Shadow...." he murmured, searching through the different key chains. He finally got to the "S" section but couldn't find his name. "Why don't they ever have Shadow here?!?! I'm going to complain!!!!" he yelled.
Shadow stomped to the cashier's desk and pointed at the key chains. "How come you don't have the name 'Shadow' in there?!?!"
"Um, I'm sorry, but-" began the cashier, but then Shadow cut in.
"Sorry?! How can you not have 'Shadow' on there?! What kind of service IS this?!"
"Shadow isn't a common name sir-"
"Is THAT the reason why my name isn't there?!"
"Sir-"
"I can't believe this!!! This is a bad store!!! Shadow is a fine name, and you don't have it on your key chains!! You should be ashamed!!!" screamed the black and red hedgehog, slamming his fists on the desk and then stomping downstairs.

With Rouge....
"Oh, what an adorable jacket!" said Rouge, taking a cotton sweater from the rack. It was a kind of gray color with a picture of a girl with a baby wolf. On the back, it said: "Peggy's Cove" in a nice font.
"Wait," Rouge said, "how does a wolf relate to Peggy?" The bat shrugged and put the sweater back on the racket. She folded her arms, and continued walking around until she found a weird-shaped thingy on an open display.
"What's this?" she asked herself, picking it up with both hands. It was a hand-shaped glass thingy that said "Peggy's Cove" in nice letters. And it was about a little bigger than her hand. "o_O"
Putting down the glass hand, she reached into her pocket to find about 50 dollars. "I only have 50 dollars... how much is this thing..." she picked up the glass hand again and it read 18 dollars. Rouge shrugged and decided to buy it. 'Man, I have weird taste....' she thought. She continued browsing the shop and saw a cute wolf plushie. "KAWAIIII!!!" the vampire bat squealed, picking up the white wolf plushie. It read 5 dollars. "I'll get this too!"
With Tikal....
Tikal walked around the shop, her hands folded behind her. "What to buy.... what to buy..." She looked at a kind of grayish sweater with a girl and a baby wolf on the front. "That's cute...." She then looked at the price tag. 25 dollars. Tikal counted her money. "Hey! I have enough!" she took the sweater from the rack and continued browsing the shop.
She went upstairs and looked at the display case. "Man, I wanna get something for Shadow. I don't know why. I just want to. I have a feeling he's broke." She spotted a pretty snow globe on the case. The price tag read 30 dollars. "Dang. Pretty expensive, kinda... but oh well." Tikal talked to the cashier.
"Hi! Can I get that snow globe up there?" the orange echidna said politely, pointing at the globe.
"No."
"No?"
"No."
"Why not?"
"No."
"Is it for sale?"
"No."
"Are you going to sell it to anyone?"
"No."
"So you mean you're reserving it for someone?"
"No."
"Then why can't I have it?!"
The cashier reached up behind him and retrieved the globe and gave it to Tikal. "No."
"o______O;; Is that the only thing you can say?"
"No."
"What else can you say?"
"Are you paying for these both?"
"Yes!"
"$46.45"
"About 47 dollars only?!"
"Yep. There's a snow globe sale today. 10 dollars off each one."
"Cool!!" Tikal paid the man the money and he put the sweater and the globe in a plastic bag, giving it to Tikal.
"Thank you for your purchase."
"No problem!" As she walked away from the desk, she pulled out the snow globe and touched the globe itself. "Whoa!! It's all jelly-like! How cool!" she started poking the globe over and over.
With Amy....
Amy held up a red sweater. "Hmm... nah. It's not pink." she put it back.
Then she headed upstairs and found a box full of toys. The pink hedgehog peered in and looked at all the toys. "Uuuhhm, okay then." As she turned around, she bumped into the lady who almost knocked Knuckles down before. "Oh! I'm sorry."
The lady glared at her then moved on.
"o_o What's up with her?" said Amy to herself. She shrugged and saw some wind chimes on display. "Pretty! .... It's 10 bucks. Okay..." Amy took the wind chime from the rack and went back downstairs. She looked at the personalized key chains. ".... Ah! There's Amy!" she took the key chain and continued to browse.
"Augh... it's getting boring without Sonikku..." Amy sighed while walking aimlessly around the shop. "I'll go find him now!!!"
With Knuckles...
"Man, I don't wanna buy anything...." muttered Knuckles. "Ah well. I might as well get a souvenir." He shrugged and took a cup with "Peggy's Cove, Halifax, Nova Scotia" engraved on it. "Hmm. A souvenir cup. Cool."
On his way to the cash register, he once again bumped into the lady.
"Sorry." said Knuckles. The lady glared at him once more then walked off. "Sheesh, what's up with her?!"
As soon as Knuckles was next in line, he put the cup on the desk and pulled out his wallet.
"Is this all sir?" asked the cashier.
"Mmm hmm."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah."
"We have plenty of other stuff."
"I know."
"Would you be interested in a glass hand?" asked the cashier, holding up a glass hand.
"o_o No."
"How about a key chain? A sweater?"
"I just want this cup."
"That's it?"
"YES."
"So I can't interest you in something else?"
"(sigh) Why don't I just take this back," said Knuckles, grabbing the cup, "And return it to where it came?"
"Oh no, no!! Please buy!"
The red echidna put the cup back on the table. "Then don't interest me in anything else."
"You sure?"
"THIS. CUP. IS. ALL. I. WANT."
"$12.33"
The red echidna paid the annoying cashier and took the plastic bag from the man. He flung it over his shoulder and started walking towards the restaurant next door. "Might as well be early..."
With Eggman...
Eggman walked around the store aimlessly. "There's nothing I want.... I wonder if there's a book three of my Evil Plans for Dummies book..."
Dr. Robotnik started looking for the book section of the store when he reached a cashier desk. "Hello," Eggman greeted, "Can you tell me where the book section is?"
"Hi, the book section is up the stairs, turn right, and it should be right there."
"Okay, thanks."
Eggman started walking upstairs.
10 minutes later....
The evil man reached the top of the stairs, panting hard. He turned right and found no books at all. "Huh? Where's the... (pant) books?" he walked to another desk. "'Scuse me, but where's the book section?"
"Turn around, turn right, go forward, make a left at the end of the hall, then make a right at the hats."
"Thanks."
Eggman turned around, turned right and went forward. He made a left at the end of the hall then made a right at the hats. In front of him was a shelf full of delicate glass figures.
"Where the heck is the book section?!" he walked around again and found another cashier. "Please tell me where the book section is."
"Down the stairs, make a left, then go straight."
"Thank you."
Eggman started downstairs, but then tripped, causing him to roll down the stairs, flattening a few people. Once he got to the bottom, he got up and dusted himself off. Making a left and going forward, he came face to face with another cashier. Dr. Robotnik was furiated and grabbed the collar of the female cashier.
"TELL ME THE CORRECT DIRECTION TO THE STUPID BOOK SECTION PLEASE." he demanded. The cashier gulped.
"I-it's.... right beside the entrance." she said, pointing. Eggman looked over and saw a whole shelf of books. He let go of the cashier and fell over.
With Sonic...
Hanging on his left arm was a blanket with a nice design on it, and on his right hand was a shopping basket that had necklaces, cups, key chains, and other souvenir thingies in it.
"I think I'm done..." Sonic murmured, looking at his stuff. When he got in line for the cash register, he saw a pink thing walking towards him. "Uh oh."
"Hi Sonic!" Amy said, and just as she was about to hug him, she saw the stuff he was carrying. "What's this?" She took the blanket on Sonic's left arm and held it in front of her. "Why are you buying a blanket with a wolf on it?"
"It's for me."
"o_O You're weirder than I thought you were... you must've got it from Shadow since you're always around him."
"Probably! ^___^ Where is Shadow anyway?"
The pink hedgehog shrugged and hanged the blanket on Sonic's left arm again. "I don't know. Have you seen him?"
"Nope."
"I'm broke I'm broke I'm broke I'm broke..." said Shadow to himself as he walked absentmindedly around the store, right behind Amy and Sonic. They glanced at him.
"Well, there he is." Amy said.
Sonic sweatdropped. "He's broke? It's a good thing I got some thingies for him."
"You got thingies for him?!?!" Amy screamed, grabbing Sonic by the collar of his jacket. He gulped.
"Y-Yes...."
"How about me?!?!"
"You too!!! I got thingies for everybody!!!"
"EVEN ME?!?!" asked Eggman from upstairs.
"YEP!!"
"YAY!!! IS IT FOOD?!?!"
"NOPE!"
"DAGNABBIT!!!"
"o_O;;" Amy put Sonic down. "Ah well. I'll meet you at the restaurant thingy. Bai!"
"Bye!"
Amy walked out of the store with her stuff in hand. Sonic stared at her dreamily when a hit to the head knocked him back to reality.
"Wha?!"
"Hello? You're next!" said the cashier.
"Oh, sorry..."
12:15pm...
"I don't even have a souvenir!!!!!" sobbed Shadow, his face buried in his hands, sobbing loudly. Eggman patted him on the back, sweatdropping.
"Don't worry Shadow, you'll get a souvenir at the next stop!"
"I don't have any money!!"
"Why didn't you ask for money from Sonic before we split up?" Rouge asked.
"Because I thought I had money!"
"You thought wrong," said Knuckles.
Tails reached into his bag. "Um, here, you can have this," he said as he handed Shadow a wooden block that says "Peggy’s Cove".
Shadow sniffed and handed it back to Tails. "No thanks.... what I really had my eye on was this snow globe thingy that I saw..."
"Oh.... uh, your glasses are soaked."
The black and red hedgehog took them off and rubbed the lenses with his sweater. Then he put them back on and proceeded crying hysterically.
Amy walked into the restaurant and sat at the table where Knuckles, Shadow, Rouge, Tails and Eggman were seated. "Hi guys!"
"AMYYYYYYYYY!!!!" sobbed Shadow, throwing himself in Amy's arms, sobbing uncontrollably. She raised an eyebrow and looked at Knuckles with a questioning look.
"He doesn't have a souvenir," replied the red echidna. Amy nodded her head in understanding. She patted Shadow on the back, gently pushing him away. "Aww Shad, it's okay. I'll buy you something at the next stop."
"Really?" Amy nodded. "YAY!!!"
Tikal and Sonic walked into the restaurant to find everybody waiting for them.
Sonic looked at his watch. "What's up? You guys are early."
"Yep! I was the first one here." Knuckles replied. "Then Shadow, then Eggman, then Rouge, then Tails, then Amy."
"Ah...."
The two sat down at the table.
Tails, Knuckles, Rouge, and Tikal sat on the right side of the table in that order. Sonic, Amy, Shadow and Eggman sat on the left side in that order. The left side was the nearest to the exit.
Sonic called on a waitress. One of them came over. "Hello, what would you suggest we would eat here in Halifax?" Sonic asked politely.
"Well, our special is gingerbread with ice cream topped on it!" said the waitress.
The blue hedgehog grinned. "Okay! We'll have eight of those and eight hot chocolates."
"All right." the waitress walked away and Sonic faced the group.
"Man, it's so cold!" he said.
Knuckles rubbed his arms. "Yeah! Even inside the stores, it's still freakin' cold!"
Tikal took a deep breath and laid her bag on the ground. "So! What did you buy, guys?"
Eggman reached into his plastic bag and took out a book. "I bought 'Evil Plans For Dummies Book 3! Even more cunning plans to take over the world!'"
Everybody fell off the table. They slowly crawled back on and sweatdropped.
"Eggman, you still read that crap?" Amy asked. He nodded.
"Yeah. Someone took one of my books and I can't find it."
Shadow raised his hand.
"O_o Uhm, yes, Shadow?"
"I think I have it! I looked at it in the airplane-"
Tails screamed. "AAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!! AIRPLANE!!!! WHERE??!?!?!" he shouted, ducking under the table. Knuckles, who was next to him, pulled him back up.
"Stop that!!"
"A-airplane... scary.... we're all gonna die...." Tails murmured. Everyone scooted away from him.
"Ooookay..." Sonic said. "Whatever...."
Knuckles held up a cup. "I got this little souvenir cup for myself. It's not much but it's proof that I went here!"
"Cool."
Rouge took out her bag. "My turn!" she shuffled in the bag for a few seconds when she finally took out a wolf plushie. "Look at the cuteness everybody!!!" she held it in front of the boys' eyes and they hissed like cats.
"THE CUTENESS!!!" the boys screamed, shielding their eyes. Then, Rouge held it in front of the girls' eyes.
"THE CUTENESS!!!" the girls squealed, looking at the wolf plushie and admiring the cuteness emitting from it.
"Hold on..." Rouge put the plushie back in the bag and then took out a glass hand. "I got this too!"
"o_O; You got that?!" Knuckles said bewildered. Rouge nodded. "Why?!"
"Cuz."
"What is it anyway?"
"I don't know."
"o_o"
"But I think it's cool! Maybe it's a paperweight or something."
"And you need a paperweight becaaauuse?"
"I dunno."
Rouge put the hand back in the plastic bag and Amy took out a wind chime. "Purdy, huh?"
"Mmm hmm!!" everybody said.
"Where'd you get it?" Eggman asked.
Amy leaned in, and everybody also leaned in. "I got it at...." she glanced around. "A secret corner of the shop!"
Everyone sweatdropped and resumed sitting normally. The pink hedgehog grinned and then took out a key chain. "And this too. That's it."
Tails nodded and took out his bag. "I got a deck of cards, a wooden block with Peggy's Cove on it, a mini snow globe, and an umbrella."
"A snow globe?" Shadow asked. "Can I see?"
Tails reached into his bag, pulled out the snow globe and gave it to Shadow. He studied it. "Hmm. This isn't the one I had my eye on." he sighed and gave it back to the kitsune.
"You had your eye on a snow globe?" Tikal asked. Shadow nodded. The spirit grinned and searched for one of her buyings in her bag. She took out a snow globe that had words that said "Peggy's Cove" in it and a little man floating around it. Little sprinkles were floating everywhere. The surface was soft and jelly-like. Shadow stared at it.
"That's the one!" he said. Then he frowned. "But I'm broke."
Tikal smiled again and handed it to Shadow. "I bought that for you."
"Really?!"
"Yeah. I had a feeling you were broke."
Shadow leaped over the table and into Tikal's arms. "THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOOOUUU!!!!!" he said over and over and hugged Tikal tightly.
"S'okay!! I can't breathe!!!"
"Sorry!" Shadow let go and leaped back in his seat, watching the floating man float all around the globe.
Sonic grinned. "I also got something for you, Shad."
Shadow looked up. "Really?!"
Sonic nodded. "Yep." he took out a key chain that said "Shadow" on it, and handed it to the black and red hedgehog.
"YAY!!!!" Shadow squeezed Sonic.
"...."
"....... Is he turning blue?" Rouge asked, studying Sonic's face.
Knuckles walked around him. "Can't tell. He's always blue."
"HELP.... MEEE....." Sonic coughed out.
"Oh! Yeah he is!!" Knuckles sweatdropped and pulled Shadow away.
"PHEW!!" Sonic breathed. "You're welcome, Shadow."

Amy giggled. "Shadow's like a wittle baby!"
"AM NOT!!!!!!!!!"

Sonic spoke up. "ARE TOO!!!"
"ARE NOT!!"
"ARE TOO!!"

"ARE NOT!!!"
"Are too! And a broke one at that!"

"Man, I missed the insanity!" Eggman grinned, looking up from his book. "It's a good thing it's back!"
Two waitresses came by, each holding two trays. They put one hot chocolate and a gingerbread topped with ice cream plate in front of each Sonic Crew character.
"Enjoy!" said the ladies. One of them put the check on the table then they walked away.
"Ooooh wow, looks yummy!" said Tails, picking up his fork and taking a bite of the gingerbread. "Mmm!!! It ish yummy!!!!" Then he started chowing down.
Rouge took a bite of the ice cream. "... Vanilla? Ah well, it'll do."
"It's kinda too sweet..." Tikal said.
Sonic took another bite of the bread and ice cream. "I think it's good!"
"Me too!" agreed Shadow.
Eggman was finished with his meal and was now slowly drinking his hot chocolate. "This is good too... (sip)"
Knuckles smirked. "You think EVERYTHING is good."
"Not everything."
Everybody gasped. "OHMYGOD!!!"
"-_-;;"
"What is it that you don't like?" Amy asked.
"I don't like pizza."
"O_O PIZZA?!?!"
Shadow almost choked on his food. "YOU don't like PIZZA?! Of all foods not to like!!!"
"What? I think I'm allergic to it."
"Dang. That sucks for you!"
"I don't like it anyway so eh."
"Why not?" Eggman whacked Shadow over the head. "Oww!! What was that for?!"
"For being an idiot!!! Again!! I just said that I think I'm allergic to pizza, that's why I don't like it."
"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOhhhh!!!!"
Sonic looked at his watch. "AHHHHHHH!!! IT'S 1:45!" he screamed.
Amy lowered her cup of hot chocolate and tilted her head to her left where Sonic was sitting at. "So?"
"We have to be in the bus by 1:45!!!!"
They were silent for a few minutes. "AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Sonic slammed some money on the table, everybody gathered their belongings, and ran out of the restaurant to their bus. They rushed into the bus and sat down in their seats where Sonic, Amy, and Eggman was on the right side and Shadow, Tikal, Knuckles, Rouge, and Tails were on the left.
The other people in the bus glared at them and they grinned nervously.
"Sorry we're late...." Sonic said nervously to Marcy.
"Ah, that's okay. Enjoying the gingerbread, ice cream and hot chocolate?"
"Yeah."
"Of course! Who else has enjoyed those delightful meals?"
Everyone on the bus raised their hands.
"Great! Anyway, we're off to drop you off at the ship!"
Charlie started up the engine and they were already out of Peggy's Cove.
"It's gonna take about an hour to get back to the dock, so we'll just let you rest up." Marcy continued.
30 minutes of driving later....
Amy stared at the rain pouring outside while Sonic slept soundly on her shoulder. From behind them, Eggman was contently reading his book, pausing time to time to think if he should do the plan he just read or not.
On the left side, Rouge slept against Knuckles as the red echidna slept against the wall of the bus, his arm around the bat's shoulders. In front of them, Tikal had leaned her head back against the seat and was also sleeping; her head tilted to the left a bit. Tails had his head in Tikal's lap as he too slept. Beside him was Shadow, kinda crouching on his back. His right elbow was on his knee, his chin resting in the palm of his right hand. He wasn't sleeping, but he was looking at the road ahead.
"Shadow," Amy said to him. Shadow looked up.
"Yeah?"
"Why aren't you a moron in this chapter?"
"Because L-Gurl is weird."
"Oh okay."
"..." Shadow resumed looking ahead.
Amy sighed and tried to speak loudly, but not too loud as to wake Sonic up. "Eggman?"
"..."
"Dr. Robotnik?" Amy said louder. Sonic stirred a bit.
"Yes?" asked Eggman from behind her.
"What are you doing?"
"Reading my book."
"Heh."
"..."
Amy sighed as she leaned on the bus wall. "Auuuggghhhhhhhh..... the BOREDOM......"
Knuckles stirred and murmured, "I'm supposed to say that...."
"Knux? You awake?"
"..."
"Dang it!"
"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" Sonic screamed, waking up and sitting upright.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" screamed Shadow.
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!" screamed Tails.
"AAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!" screamed Tikal.
"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" screamed Knuckles.
"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" screamed Rouge.
Everybody stared at Sonic. "What happened?" Tails said, rubbing his eyes.
Sonic blinked, shook his head, and resumed sleeping. The people who were previously sleeping rolled their eyes and also resumed sleeping.
"o_O What was that about?" Amy asked no one in particular.
"Dunno," replied Eggman, "but I do know that the capital of California is Sacramento!"
The pink hedgehog sighed. "Aaaaaauuuuuuuuggghhhh........"
