This should be around 30 years old (or more?!). You can maybe hear that from the style of the song, probably not everybody's kind of thing (I don't mind it, I have phases where I listen to Jaqcues Brel or Marlene Dietrich ( Read more... )

Hahahahaha, that gif xD. Yes I'm pretty much infected with him right now xD.. And it's so interesting to see that he did these outfit and female make up things so many years ago already, before Visual Kei became a movement. So I understood he was a kind of a prototype. And as for male-male fanservice, he kissed another guy in a movie - very nice scene xD - he also seems to have been a prototype for the "seemingly gay" type who actually isn't. He's historic xD.

Scho seltsam.

Well, okay, 45 :), but... 63... ;)? It's just... he could be my dad xD.
Still it would be awesome to see a concert of him, he's touring in Japan. Of course he has changed a LOT and gotten older and everything (you can definitely see he is over sixty, he put on weight, his hair is grey - I think he dyed it blonde now - his face is not young and fresh anymore, he doesn't move like a young man anymore), but if I had the chance to see him live... wow :), I think it would be a great experience, he can still sing ;). Sure I couldn't expect to see that sexy young man that he once was ;), but still.
He was (or still is) really a showman. It seems to me that for a lot of songs he had his own special costume and performance and he did that really convincing. So no wonder he's also an actor and played a lot of different roles as far as I could see. He played in dramas, comedies, light horror movies... he really covered a variety of types. A true entertainer :). Such a pity I can't go to Japan ;), I would definitely try to see him live :).

Oh I can absolutely understand that! Bowie is still the man. Funny, Val told me they called Kenji Sawada the "Japanese David Bowie"! Although I get where it comes from, their music styles are very different. Yesterday I watched a clip on YT where Kenji Sawada was already old, I think it was from "Julie Matsuri" xD from three years ago. Waaah, this rarely happens to me, but I got very wet eyes because I was so moved by the performance of the ballad he sung. Somehow it fit so much to his age and made me all melancholic about getting old *bawl*. But, strange as it sounds, it made me also fall in love with "old Kenji" (of course I know it's all the same Kenji xD, but I think you know what I mean hehe).
Gahahahaha, yeah, go to concerts and EAT, absolutely xD!!!
