Well, the tree could be a clue. But then again the tree could be just dead, too. It was actually the sun in those same photos that reminded me that it is winter in the southern hemisphere now- the winter sun just has a certain look. Like it is hazy and has a big halo, where the summer sun looks crisp and sharp. I dunno.
However, I'm going to bet that winters down there are probably a lot milder than winters on this side of the equator!
