Sherlock's body language was really off to me in this last ep. It makes me wonder if he's pulling some drama nonsense of "I'm separating to avoid hurting you".
I really enjoyed Joan telling Sherlock it's not cool to diss your coworkers.
However I have no idea how to take the ending of the episode, especially since Joan's caring for

Sherlock: I think Sherlock is one of these people who hardly sleep and we see a lot of Joan being asleep or being sleepy in the morning to establish a contrast.
The Good Wife: I love Eli/Natalie.
Almost Human: I like the characters well enough, but I don't like how the writers push the slashiness into our faces, it's totally forced and it feels like huge queerbaiting since Dorian is an android and there is no way anything will happen there.
Book rec: You might be interested in Ancillary Justice. I thought of you because I remember you mentioning that Orbit was good at diversity and it's by Orbit.
Almost Human: I feel John's essentially the equivalent of being droidphobic -- or whatever it would be called in this world. Since he doesn't view Dorian as a person it feels really squicky to me that he would enter a relationship with Dorian without that getting addressed first.
Anciliary Justice: It's been on my radar! I was worried the memory thing might be hard to pull off, but the reviews seem to be good!
It does that a lot these days. :/ At least we had a few months without problems.

Ancillary Justice: It works well, I think. There are some mentions in the present, but mostly there are flashback chapters, so it's more "show" than "tell".
I have read Heart's Blood! Alas, Robin McKinley owns my heart when it comes to Beauty and the Beast retellings. I've yet to read Cybele's Secret though! I read her other YA book but I forgot what it's about.
