The world of Yuki's dream is a cold sterile place, a lonely apartment with no furnishing of any kind, save for a low table. If not for a figure sitting in front of a low table it would seem to be empty, a place unfit for human life. The figure sits as if waiting, unmoving, a stoic expression on her face, she seems to pay no heed to the world around her. In all the room lacks any trace of humanity, if anything the scene resembles a manikin display in a department store window, the human form is there but something is very wrong.
Then as the girl sits the window not far from shows signs of life, the sun sets and rises, the moon waxes and wanes. The whole world passes through its motion outside the window, while the girl simply sits, unblinking, unfeeling. The cycle of sun and moon outside the window continues, over and over again, the seasons pass and thousands upon thousands pass on the street below. The girl remains seated, letting the entire world pass her by, for a thousand cycles this continues, though time has passed and the world changed, the girl had not, the stoic look remains upon her face.
Then, as if nothing had happened, she rises from her seated position and slowly walks towards the apartment's door. Turning the handle the door opens and the girl leaves. The dreams ends...
