Takadanobaba, the area where our ryokan was, is just one train stop away from Shinjuku and I think we spent more time there than in any other place. Shinjuku is an area for shopping and entertainment. Again, click on the photos to see bigger versions of them.
This is the Metropolitan Government Building. You can go up in the towers to see the view, for free. Photo taken by

The view from the Government Building. Other skyscrapers just next to the building.
Lots of houses all around...
I'm not sure, but I think that could be the side of a mountain, behind the clouds. At least that is the direction where there would be mountains, if the air was clear enough for them to be seen.
Do not throw trash on the streets.

More of Shinjuku and neon lights.
Kabukicho, the entertainment and red-light district of Shinjuku. Apparently they don't always accept foreigners inside the clubs. We didn't try. :P Photo taken by
hiljainen, as are all of the following ones, except for the last photo of a sign.
Ads in Kabukicho.
We found cute stuff in a gaming arcade. :)
Too bad we didn't win any of them.
The place had four floors, I think, and the last one was for girls only, men couldn't enter alone. :P I'm not quite sure what the place was for, but it seemed like you could rent a costume, put it on and then take pictures of yourself in it. Err.
Okay, that's all for now, folks. Hope you enjoy.
