for some reason, my website's blog stopped crossposting here... not that I've written anything in about a year, but still. just posted a reflection upon my father's passing last September. first words I've committed to the topic since... difficult still, but at least I'm finally at a place where I'm able to voice these things.

words can't even come close. not sure if I've ever really talked with you much about him aside from the tofu deliveries to rainbow! talk about cadre. he stayed true until the end, just not as loud as he once was. he touched so many lives and made a difference for so many... totally unsung, and even though I know that's how he wanted it, it's hard not to scream at the world and tell his stories to everyone who might want to hear.

honestly, he was just as integral and important to the movement as Richard Aoki was. Look for anything on Louie Lee, and there's nothing... but ask anyone who was in the movement back in the day, and they all knew him.
