[kids] School project

7th graders are required to do 3 hours of community service as part of health class. Laura decided to pick up trash in the neighborhood. But she feared it would be boring, so she recruited, Tom Sawyer-style, three of her friends to help her (friends who aren't taking health now). I'm not sure whether to call this laziness or leadership.

Clearly leadership. The real questions is whether her friends are smart enough to get her to help when they take health :)

I agree. Though my real question is whether she and her cohorts can quit after 45 minutes, ay which point she should certainly get credit for contributing 3 person hours to her community.

Sounds like a great idea. As long as they stay relatively on-task, they'll certainly be able to accomplish more as a group than she would have been able to do alone, and it will be less tedious for her.

Absolutely leadership. :-)

Subversion; it's better than either.
