my entire life i have loved kafka. my sixth grade teacher, for my birthday, gave me a copy of metamorphosis. i went from there. in the penal colony and a hunger artist have always been my favorites. it's his sense of rhythm and reality that intrigues me the most.

i've always strove to make my fiction kafkaesque. this is a reminder to me.
