Oh, how lovely to read this at last!
I love eveything about this including the easy banter between Eames and Arthur, but I especially adore the smoky, jazzy atmosphere you captured here.
You took the details from the picutre and then built a whole new wonderful world aounrd it. I'm ridiculously happy and immensely impressed.

This is just so fantastic. I love the realism of how their affair is verboten, and the palpable tension between them is gorgeous. I especially love this line: Arthur is no dreamer :)

Also, I was listening to this very song in my car on the way home, so I'm filled with complete joy now to read this. It absolutely does justice to the wonderful artwork that inspired it - you've really captured the mood of it beautifully ♥
