1 scifi dream and 1 horror dream
I actually had several dreams last night but the two that stick out are a sci-fi dream and a horror dream.
The first dream was about the military having a base on the moon. It was a huge base with towers but there was a problem. Only one shuttle, like the shape and color of a stealth bomber, to take the recruits to the base from Earth. If something were to happen to that shuttle then everyone on the moon would be trapped and die. I made a comment about this and asked what would happen to the people on the base if the shuttle would crash or explode. I saw it in a "vision" (dream within the dream) where the shuttle, as it was approaching the landing bay, actually did crash and explode along with the landing bay which set off a chain reaction to the base exploding which in turn caused the moon to be thrown out of it's orbit. When I came out of the vision, I was on the shuttle thinking the worst possible situations and thinking that everyone on board knew the risks and signed up for it. We could end up trapped on the moon base or die in an explosive death. It was a really good dream despite that my description of it is pretty bad.
The second dream wasn't as long or detailed. What I recall of it is that I lived in a town with a gothic feel to it. The buildings were old and the air felt dark. Instead of buses or cars in the streets there were trolley like tracks but they operated on magnets instead of electricity. It was nighttime and I was walking somewhere. The trees cast eerie shadows, the lights in the store fronts were dim, the old fashion street lamps were flickering. There were no other people in the town. You could hear laughter but you couldn't see who or where the laughter was coming from. I followed the laughter to what looked like a church with stain glass windows. I enter the church and at the front of the church was a huge organ and there was a man sitting there dressed in black, of course, with long black hair that fell to his waist. When he turned to look at me, he had no face. Strangely, I was not frightened but unfortunately I woke up.
