It all comes back to why you want to sell the car. Are you selling it because you need the money? Because you don't want to spend money on it anymore? Because you don't want the car? Don't have space? Don't want to work on it anymore?

It's sorta like quitting something else: you still get joy from the thing you are quitting, but you decide ultimately to quit it. You can find all sorts of reasons to keep it going; but you have to decide if you are quitting it for good reasons and need to let it go, or if you'd rather not quit.
