that was actually pretty good. i'd expect a manga turned into movie to look like it sucks hardcore. kinda like live action Sailor Moon. cheasy as poop.
but they animated Ryuk, he looked okay. it was obviously animated and kind of fake looking but it was fine.

and! THEY PUT THE GUY WHO PLAYED SHUYA NANAHRA IN BATTLE ROYALE AS LIGHT!! i think it's a market ploy because Battle Royale is popular here, and so is Death Note. i hope the chances of getting it translated and stuff are high because it sure seems like it. i don't get why Hollywood can't come up with original shit like this once in awhile.

oh and they showed that girl Misa too, but she had black hair. and light's hair is kinda of like, reddish in the manga, not brown like it was in the movie. fucking Japs and their refusal to do anything with their hair besides dye it red brown and look stupid. also i kind of wanted L's hair to be poofier. )'': BUT IT'S GOOD!
