Hey all, I'm back from the dead! Or at least, back from the land of dead LJs :D Sorry I've been so quiet of late. Just didn't feel like I had much to say, I suppose. But of course, recent events have changed that. Quite throughly

I really don't like many of the democrats that are out there. Hilary is a complete harridan, and I cringe every time I hear her speak. I guess on a positive note, electing her would get Bill back in the White House. In this past election, I really didn't know who to vote for. Bush had to go for abusing his warmaking power, yet I felt Kerry was not the right man to replace him.
Howard Dean in 08. The man has the passion and charisma that Kerry lacked, and I believe he could have won against George Bush. Hell, even though Al Gore won 4 years ago, it would have been a much clear victory if we had the Al Gore of today running back then. "He betrayed this country; he played on our fears!!!!" Ah, classic moment. We need a guy who gets excited and yells about things.
Thank goodness we won't have to hear Teresa Heinz-Kerry's monotonous, lethargic and oddly disturbing cadence she speaks in. Can someone fill her in that English is the language of America, and it shouldn't be spoken like a robot?
Hey Stryp, thanks for commenting here. Sorry that my response is three months too late ^^;; I'm right there with you about TR, btw. If the laws of physics would allow it, I'd hire myself a Necromancer to bring him back from beyond the grave. Even Zombie Teddy would be a valuable addition of new blood to the anemic politcal scene in the US.
Still, as I've mentioned before, at least there's Barrack Obama. He won't be ready to make a presidential run for another eight or so years, but his presense makes that possiblity a real one. Gotta think in the long term as well, afterall. It's the one adavantage we have over the more short sighted conservatives who are currently in charge of the GOP.
You take care over there, Brian, and remember, the liberals of today don't hate the soldiers, we hate the thoughtless politicians who carelessly put soldiers in harm's way. Be well, friend :)
