Wow I just loved how you explored Shepard's past and Chakwa's take on it. Its nice to see too how Zaeed doesn't buy the hero worship but there is still that underlying sense of begrudging respect.

I loved to how in the end it is all they don't say that speaks volumes between them. I really do hope you explore this pairing in the future because you really captured them so beautifully!

haha Thanks! I couldn't get this pairing out of my head since the first time I played. I just couldn't resist not writing this one out. It was driving me crazy.

My Shep at least has a pretty traumatic background, so I figured as a doctor Chakwa's got to know how really damaging it could be. Zaaed's seen too much to be fooled by something as simple as hero worship but he also knows that Sheps proven herself. I thought Zaeed's loyalty mission paragon style was really spot on with that aspect.

Thanks for the compliment! I figure they are older and more mature, they don't need to really be mushy or beat around the bush. I got a few ideas rolling around so we'll see.

I enjoy the differences in their personalities. They've both have done and seen so much. They both have different outlooks on life. Bound to have some interesting conversations.

Zaeed icons! They're so hard to find. I always end up making my own.

Hell yes, Zaeed/Chakwas! This is one of my guilty pairings, and I am so happy to see it here! I like how you temper Chakwas' stern attitude toward medical matters with her more romantic ideals, especially the way she views Shepard. Zaeed is so disagreeable and flippant, so his personality and hers clash in the most interesting ways.

I've never see any fics of them so I figured I'd try my go with it. Chakwas has been a doctor forever so I'm sure she's come across all kinds of walks of life as well as Zaeed. They have a different opinions for everything so I'm sure they'd clash at some point and I don't see Chakwas backing down to anything in her field of expertise.

You don't give yourself enough credit. To be honest this is probably THE best interpretation of Zaeed that I've seen in a fan fiction. We need more Zaeed. And you have his character down so well! Why didn't you post this earlier? The only small problems I see are minor punctuation skills but that's easy to pass over.
