Rammstein in Dresden, 11 Feb 2010

First and foremost, I want to wish my friend dadi all the best, health and happiness, for her birthday. Hope you had a wonderful day for your birthday :)

Yesterday, Gaby and I went to the Rammstein concert in Dresden. We didn't go very early, because it was snowing, and I was still sick, so we didn't want to spend much time waiting outside. When we arrived, there were loads of people walking to the Messe Halle. When we got there, we saw this huge line...

Of course, we didn't stay there, we just went to the entry. In front of the entry there was this crowd...

This time they had big signs saying that they check also the IDs, not only the tickets, and they actually did it. Gaby didn't bring anything with her, in terms of a document to certify that she's who she says she is. But I had my ID, and we explained to the people checking the tickets that she's my wife, they could see that the serial numbers were consecutive, if they couldn't get the name, and we have the same name... so they let her in. Then, after the gates, they wanted me to leave the camera with them, so I had to explain how it is not a professional camera, it only looks so, and so on, and in the end they let me in with it.

The Messe hall is smaller than the one in Leipzig, and there are no seats. We said we won't go too to the front, but ended up again very close to the stage, on Richard's side. I wasn't planning, also, to take so much pics again, but the angle was way better than in Leipzig, the distance and the lighting, so... I just couldn't help it and kept snappping pics. So, here are some of them.

Flake, as just landed with his spaceship.

There'll be loads of pics of Richard. Man, does he like to pose :P

They opened with Rammlied. Managed to get better and more pics of Till this time too.

The atmosphere was a lot more relaxed than in Leipzig. The guys were talking and communicating a lot to each other.

One of my best shots of the concert.

Till seemed to have a lot of fun. Richard, sometimes, seemed that he just wanted to finish with it. But it was only a few times.

There were some minor problems too, I will mention them later.

In the beginning the sound wasn't so good. The voice channel didn't work on our side of the stage.

During one of the songs, Richard knocked down a mic, not intentionally, but one of the roadies ran and put is back.

There also have been some minor changes, more in the recusite.

And during some songs I took loads of pics, while during others, only snapped a few.

One of the things I always liked at Till is his mimics and the way he acts the songs on the stage through his facial expressions.

Waidmanns Heil. One of the changes, Till in hunter outfit. (I didn't follow posts from previous gigs so for me it was new).

But I think the outfit suits Till. Wonder from which museum they rented the gun.

During Links 234, I think.

He enjoys it a lot, communicating with the public and getting it involved.

And being taken his pic. Haha

Oli had a really cool bass-guitar too.

You, scum, are you looking at me!? Off with your head!

There were a lot of times when Richard went close to Till and Paul, but I'm not so happy about the the quality of those pics, so there'll be mostly pics with each of them.

With the face-flame throwers.

All three of them.

And Richard again.

Wiener Blut. The laser like lights.

During "Frühling in Paris".

End of the first part.
