postpone - what's up with that?

I am deeply concerned with the word postpone. Something about it just doesn't sit well with me. If postpone is a word, doesn't it seem logical that pone would also be a word? And if it were a word, what would it mean, anyway ( Read more... )

Pone is a subsitution for "telephone" for people with lisps. Post-phone used to mean to discuss things over the phone, but since people with lisps are so self-counsious, the term postpone came to mean "do it later".

I went with the 15". I didn't bother with the crazy superdrive because I have no need for that, but I upgraded the memory. It's so pretty. Happiness. :)

Mmm...

You know, here in the Tea Lounge, it appears as thought the 12" and 15" have all the mindshare. Don't think I've seen a 17" yet. I tell ya, if you're livin' somewhere where you're primarily walking or hauling stuff on and off of trains, even the 12" gets a little heavy sometimes...

But I'm sooooo happy for you! PowerBook == Love. If only I could've been there...
