Target clearance tip.

Stolen from weblamer.

Target's full prices end in 9. So the first price tag will be $14.99 or $27.99, something like that.
Then, every time Target discounts the product, the final digit of the price drops.
The lowest the last digit will drop is 4.
If you see something you want at Target and the price ends in 4, buy it. The price won't go any lower.EDIT ( Read more... )

Wow, fascinating! I wonder what they do if it doesn't sell at that price?

Now I want to go Target clearance shopping...

Actually, I just came back from there and I'm not so sure this stands up. I found things that were 75% off that were marked $??.98. So unless they took these things STRAIGHT from regular price down to 75% off, this Target, at least, doesn't adhere to that rule. I only saw one thing marked $??.?4

Hehe I just came from Target too! I got a couple of dress-type things for like $4.84 and some saline, that's all... I didn't pay that much attention the prices of other stuff though...
