What exaclty is Naked Time?

The ultimate question. Some people don't understand the phrase (though I can't figure out why) and most of the time I just get very weird looks. Naked time originated from Known Tom Coleman back in August 2000. I give all the credit to him for the phrase; though it was pronounced more like Nekd time. I see. So there is both a literal and metaphorical definition of Naked Time.

(I like the literal definition better. :D Though I would not do it myself. :p )

do you know about the dana carvey hbo stand-up special from the mid-90s where he talks about how he had to create an hour of the day called "naked time" just to keep his kids from running around naked at any random time? i kinda figured you got it from that. if you haven't seen it, you should seek it out, i'm sure you'd enjoy the bit.
