September Picture of the Day 29

I bring you our penultimate September picture of the day - where has the month gone?

I like the balance between the clear trees in the foreground and the mist covered trees in the background. The weak sun and hint of frost on the ground, adds wonderfully to the pictures, making it look somewhat mysterious, spooky even.

I hadn't really thought of sad for the picture, but looking at it again, I can agree it is rather sad.

It's perfect for the end of fall (of course, it's still full on summer here). I don't think fall has much of a chance this year...
