So maybe a new series, huh? It's a good sign that, though mention was made of the previous books, it didn't confuse you. I've seen several new series that aren't series in the traditional sense. I like that.

Quite possibly. Something nice and gentle is just what one needs at times. I thought the author did really well in bringing in the already known people, but in a way that didn't leave readers confused. I think it's a good way to do a series, but probably not something just anyone can pull off.

Innovative and outstanding writing can get a bit tiresome. My most recent book would come into that category and there were times when I had to reread sentences to get the gist of the meaning, which is not my favourite thing! A lovely review, as always, M'dear, and I think I shall read the book as I quite like the sound of it.

You're so right there. It really can bet a bit tiresome. Oh, that's a shame your most recent book was a bit like that. I know the 'read a sentence more than once' to figure it out.

Thank you, m'dear. I think you'd enjoy it; I really do.

This sounds interesting. I’ll have to look into it.

Sick? I hope it’s not serious and you feel better soon.

Yes. Nothing too awful, thank you for asking. Both J and I have some horrid bug that has been going on for about 10 days or so. It's getting very wearisome.
