This is such a warming card and not just because of the fire. It has a rather old fashioned feel to it in terms of the tree and the real fire and the stockings hanging from the mantelpiece and the extremely well wrapped presents. I do love the way the dog is gazing up at the cat on the chair. It's a real feel good picture that makes me smile and

This picture is just darling! And so many wonderful details, like how the stockings are mirror images of each other, and the myriad little stars around the edges of the picture!

The dog and cat are being SO well behaved ... I bet they'll be tearing around the house with excitement on Christmas morning and playing with their new toys!

Isn't it just? I hoped you'd like it. As always your ability to spot such intricate details so well is excellent. The mirror image of the stockings is lovely, as are the stars you mention (which I didn't spot *g*).

They are amazingly well behaved and seem to devoted to one another. I'm sure they will be.
