oh this is so perfect it's painful, and I would just like to reiterate how much I love love love your Speirs ♥ the progression in this was beautiful: I must admit when I first came to the BoB fandom I just couldn't connect with Speirs/Lipton at all (I love Speirs too much and Lip at first just left me cold for some reason) but I fell in love alongside Speirs here, fantastic job :)

on a side note, did Speirs really get married over in England? And I've read in a few other fics that Lipton's wife left him during the war...? Is this all supposition and assumed fanon or do we know any of this as fact? Currently waiting on my bank balance to order all the memoirs and related literature from amazon to find out for myself!

You know, it's funny, because, at first, I wasn't really drawn to Lipton/Speirs in the beginning. Hence why my first fic was Speirs/Nixon. Then Nixon/Winters. I'm not sure when, but somewhere along the way I fell for Lipton. Hardcore. Even more so than Speirs. It's weird, but there it is. I couldn't imagine not loving these two today, especially together
