Hey everyone - as I'm sure you all know, Chris passed his Master's Orals *snicker* and has his reception this Friday at UD from 7-9. There will be cookies and cupcakes and other sweets, but no string quartet this time :-(

The conference was cool, I got to attend a rad symposium all about porn (one researcher distinguished it from erotica, another one showed how even WOMEN have decreased views on women's rights after watching porn), and I got to a see a tribute to Borcovec, possibly one of the most prolific researchers in the field of psychology (especially anxiety and sleep), and I presented some research on how sleep hygiene patterns vary across insomnia diagnosis.

but paying $8 for a crappy 6-inch bread-and-meat sub sucked a lot.

I have to go to Florida this week, but I think I can make it down there on Wed. & Thu. in order to be back on Friday. I'll have to check things out more thoroughly tomorrow.

You never know - maybe a new mystery band will show up!! ;)

I got pulled off of Florida and instead have to go to HENRYETTA, OKLAHOMA. They can't even spell Henrietta, for goodness sake. But, Friday should now be no problem. :)

Is it in the same place as last time? I have the postcard at home; I guess I can check there.
