Hey everyone - I got an interview at Duke Medical Center on Jan 14th!!! YAY! They have an awesome sleep disorders center, as well as an all-around stellar reputation. If I buy the tickets now, it'll only be around $250 round-trip.

Now... I just need to find some sort of transportation and lodging. Anybody know anybody in that area?

I am guessing NC? Amber Potter and her husband live there. I am sure they would be happy to have you stay with them.

hmmm, i don't think that would be awkward for anybody.

You are essentially a friend of a friend at this point, unless Chris and Amber are not friends....which hadn't occurred to me til now. I guess I always thought they were able to salvage a friendship out of the deal.

People are weird about their exes. I have never had difficulty in that area. I am on good terms with all but one of mine, and I would be his friend too if he weren't a junkie who is in and out of prison.

Meh, different strokes and all that.
