as far as itunes goes, it's supposed to basically network your music by style, playing your more favored "types" of music more often. if you haven't genius-ed your whole library, it may just be pulling out songs/albums/artists you tend to favor.

My God, do not apologize. I feel absolutely horrible because I haven't been reading my flist forever, and not because I don't love all of you, but because I just haven't been on LJ. Like. Period. And part of that is because I'm on a fucking computer all day long and I don't really want to look at one when I get home? BUT IT'S STILL BAD SO PLEASE FORGIVE ME WAH XD;;;

The iTunes thing. Actually, I think there is a setting that tells it to play higher play count songs more often. That seems vaguely familiar.
