I also had two tests today, and have two on wednesday...got me thinking as well. I really dislike school. I also really like school. i'm a firm believer college isn't all about the classes and the formal education, which yeilds nothing more than an expensive piece of toilet paper...its about growing and learning in general, learning about yourself, learning about who you are and what you want to be. perhaps you are learning that having the best education and being the smartest and proving it to the world isn't exactly who you are...but thats all part of the game. take me for instance...i love computers, but i've yet to find a niche that really excites me. id like to make money, but at the same time thats not what inspires me either...you have a tremendous girlfriend, a bunch of friends that love to kick your ass in magic, and that makes you happy...you've found it, and college has probably helped with that. the thing with college is that what degree you get is usually kind of pointless, its just the fact you have one that separates the men from the boys so to speak, too...keep that in mind. and i'm way to philisophical for my own good.

Agreed...what you said is more than true, I mean I have gained a LOT by being at college, but like only 5% of that was from classes....too bad our degrees are based on the classes.

As eric said, college is alot more than a piece of paper. I is a period of growing and learning. College is pretty much a positive experience for everyone who has the opportunity to experience it. U're classes are hard, they really are. They are not easy A's and they are not enjoyable but when you finish your degree you will feel this great sense of accomplishment : ) ure parents are really loving/understanding - talk to them about their expectations for u...you gotta work on the whole guilt & worrying thing before you drive yourself crazy.;p You are not alone in your feelings. We all think similiar things all the time.. What am i going to do with my life? what is college doing for me? the answers will come with time : ) just keep doing what you love and things will work out.. not that i need to write all this since im probably seeing you later, but im bored right now and felt like writing ;p
