It's interesting to me how the prompt doesn't mention the gender of the arsonist, but you assumed it to be male.

Not that you'd be wrong, of course. Almost all arsonists are male. I just think it's interesting because you're a gender-conscious® person.

I didn't assume the arsonist would be male, using male pronouns was just easier than writing "he/she," "his/her," constantly in the interests of being politically or gramatically correct.
