B&W Central channel speakers test

I've been a fan of stereo sound, but recently I've built a proper cinema room at home and decided to go for a 5.1 system. Initially I thought that central channel is a less demanding element of the system that has to produce mid and high frequencies just for the voice of the actors, so I was looking for a cheaper speaker and purchased the CC3. Totally agree on your conclusion. The LCR60 S3 is very boomy. Even when the basport is stuffed. So I use the graphics EQ to cut 250 and 500HZ by -3,5dB and a little (0,5dB) boost At 4k for some extra brightness in the vocals. Now it sounds quite nice, firm and open with clear speech
