05. Under the same umbrella

UNDER THE SAME UMBRELLA
Dongwoo / Sungjong. PG. 414 words.
Sungjong was doing his best at trying to hide that he was shaking like a leaf as he was under the same umbrella as the main rapper of the group. It wasn't because of being near Dongwoo - he's use to it and there's no problem about that. It's because something a friend told him long ago, when he was going to elementary school. But he still remembers.
“Hyung, this remembered me of something...” The maknae says with shaky voice, not daring to turn his head to face the older one.
“Hmm?” Dongwoo didn't seem to care about it, being more interested in the race that was taking place at the moment.
“Oh, well, it's something a friend of mine told me some time ago about a thing japaneses do when they are in love.” Sungjong continued, looking also at the race, but he didn't care about the result.
“And what is it?” The kenyan looked a bit more interested in the younger's explanation when he heard the word 'love' coming out of his lips. But it didn't mean he felt something like these for him, of course not, he was completly straight. Well, at least he thought so.
“They write their own name and the name of the person they love under an umbrella” He mumbled, noticing how his cheeks started to become bright red. At least he could blame the hot weather.
“And... it only works if you write the names?” Asked the older, trying to hide the fact that he also was blushing while cheering up for his team.
“I suppose it also counts to stand under the same umbrella.” Sungjong dared to say, looking sideways at the older.
“So, may I stand under the same umbrella as you?” Dongwoo asked while looking serious, but he couldn't endure it to much before bursting in laughs, like he always laughed, making the magnae to smile at him.
“You are already doing it.” Sungjong clench his fist around the umbrella's handle, remembering to himself that he was in a public place with at least twenty cameras filming them. He had to put up with it, because he really wanted to jump over Dongwoo to embrace him and scream at everybody how much he loves him.
Well, he can assure to do the first when they arrive home. And to add it a kiss, for making him wait for so long.
