I am a sucker for period dramas, especially late 18th and early 19th century England. Maybe it is because I grew up reading Sherlock Holmes, the victorian era (and the decades leading up to it) seems almost familiar to me. I decided a week ago that I had enough of chick flicks and action movies and needed a return to top hats and fancy petticoats.

Mine too! What did you think of the little preview of the movie? The 1982 version was the best in my opinion but they could definitely to a remake. say.... ewan mcgregor as sir percy? =D
