We could do that. I mean us, the live-journal mega cloud that we are connected to. I can think of at least two people who would be OK tin-stringing out the comms, and several more who could probably programme a microcomputer inside a camera to take pictures in random directions and finding the will would not be hard.

We could. I'd like to do it as a school project; geography, maybe, or one of those whizzy cross-discipline things that sometimes attracts funding...
