I just looked at it -- sounds like it would be fun!

One questionm though -- would you be willing to be a vet receptionist for a prolonged period of time? Seems like they want someone for the long haul.

I know you can do it, I'm just wondering if you'd be willing to look at this from a career perspective. :) I don't know if I could do it -- pets/animals are a bit of a weakness for me, and I'm not sure I could handle knowing someone was bringing their pet in to be put to sleep, or to have the pet pass away during surgery or something. :( Makes me think of Zachie.... :( :( :(

I think I could handle the death, because death is part of life. I've dealt with death at work too. If I can hanlde it with humans, then I can handle it with animals.

Plus, at least if the animals died during surgery, people were trying to take good care of them and loving them to the end. Same with putting the animals to sleep.

It's the senseless abuse and killing that I can't handle--animal or humans!

And yes, I would consider this for a long time position. It'd be nice to feel a part of a community and feel loyalty to where I worked.

Nekomi wasn't commenting on your comment (she's not the type to do that), she was just lending her support.

And yes, I know you'd think I'd be great. *hugs*

Sure, although it's been a few years now since the more-than-weekly trips with Eddie near the end (late '90s). Do need to take Tabetha in for at least checkups and such anyway. Heh
