OOC Prompt: Bard: Brave new world
The day he first stepped out into the alley, he could never have dreamed what would come of it. The kindness of the people in the Nexus left his head spinning, but his stomach full. What truly disoriented him was the complete lack of social barriers, and even years later he had not quite learned to see himself as an equal to his new friends, but he was learning. Thorn wanted to belong to the multiverse, more desperately than he had ever wanted anything before. The Nexus had changed him, and continued to, shaping him in ways he could never have dreamed of.
