While it may be bad, Sarah, that you do not tell anyone about how you feel, it is VERY bad that you are self-diagnosing yourself. Going online and looking up symptoms for a disease is allowing yourself to fall into the Placebo effect: You read each symptom, and then start thinking if you have had any of them. More often than not, people who self-diagnose themselves mis-read symptoms and then "think" they have the disease or malady they researched, when in reality nothing is wrong. If you are concerned about your health, there is only one option, and that is to go see a trained and liscene professional, such as a doctor or a psychologist, who can then diagnose any and all of your problems, rather than relying on some internet database and your own judgment over the vast chemical and biological mechanisms of your body.

Other than my little sermon above, I hope all is well, and you climb the roadblock successfully. See a doctor, talk to some people, and...did I mention see a doctor?

Cheers!!!

How did things look in the morning, Sarah? Sorry it's taken me forever to respond...crazy stuff going on here.

I have to agree wtih eruvil..it's generally not a good idea to be diagnosing yourself (for physical or mental problems). There are way too many diseases that are online (with similar symptoms), and plus you might not see some things that a doctor would. But I know you want to know "what wrong". It's a tough situation. I can understand not wanting to tell your parents or wanting to talk to the counselers at RC....if you like, I can give you the name of my old couseler (she got me through some tough times). Even though she's in MD, she might be able to refer you to someone in VA or FL (whichever). I saw her starting in middle school, all through high school, and even had some phone sessions with her in my sophomore year at RC (she generally doesn't do those, just those clients she's had before).

Let me know if you would like her name and number. And how are things going with your relationship? Are things ok?
