It's the tragedy metioned in book 17 or in the anime, episode 69. is this really true, if it's true can anyone give me the article because I can't find it in google. Thank you (I always think that incidents mentioned in Monster is true except the story itself)...

I don't think the incidents mentioned in Monster are based on true accounts, even though places similary to Kinderheim 511 certainly did exist. Maybe not as a sort of experiment in Eastern Germany, but certainly in Roumania. Similarly, serial murders of any kind did happen in Germany as in other places as well even though I don't think you will find a particular reference.

The smaller towns, mentioned in Monster, do not exist in that form, neither Zweifelstadt or Ruhenheim exist in the attributed areas, but both could be there and they are word games."Zweifel" means "doubt" which is a major theme of Lunge's character arc.

I C...so it's not really true! I had thought about it when I can't find it in google but the way Monster tell it, it is soooo convincing. Anyway it's such a good reference about the Zweifel! It makes more amazed by Urasawa Naoki-sensei!
